It was a trip Malta 🇲🇹 We started our trip by visiting Mdina, Malta’s ancient walled city. The narrow, winding streets and medieval architecture made for perfect photo backdrops 📸 One of the best times to visit is early in the morning ☀️or late in the afternoon when the light is soft, casting beautiful shadows over the old stone buildings ✨We explored the impressive St. Paul’s Cathedral and enjoyed the views from the bastions, which gave us incredible panoramas of the island 🏝️ 📍Mdina, Malta We also took a boat 🛥️ trip to the famous Blue Lagoon, located on the island of Comino. The boat ride itself was picturesque, and once there, we spent time swimming and taking photos of the surrounding cliffs 📸The lagoon is best visited when the weather is calm, and it’s less crowded, so we made sure to go early in the day or during off-peak times 😍 📍Blue Lagoon, Comino, Malta We spent a good amount of time in Valletta, Malta’s capital. Malta is located in the central Mediterranean. This time, we came to Blue Lagoon mainly for water activities. First, we played on the slide on the boat, and then we rode a Jet Ski! Being able to ride a Jet Ski in the Mediterranean, with waves constantly splashing, is thrilling! While driving along, you can see the vast sea and the unique rocks near Malta! The price is quite cost-effective, €60 for 30 minutes per person! Highly recommended!

I got up early and took a ferry from the Cirkewwa port of Malta to the Mgarr port of this paradise-like Gozo Island (Gozo) to start my day trip to Gozo Island. 🟧Gozo Island Introduction The second largest island in Malta, Gozo, is located to the northwest of the main island, 14 kilometers long and 7 kilometers wide, it is really a small place. But when it comes to its history, it can be traced back to thousands of years ago, there were already traces of human activities here. The capital Victoria City (Victoria) with its earthy yellow buildings and those crisscrossing alleys that make people lose their way, surprisingly gives people the illusion of being in Fez, Morocco. But the local customs here are much better, the passionate and friendly Maltese give people a full sense of security. Climbing up the Citadel castle located in the center of Victoria City, you can take in the scenery of the island. You can also take a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus like me to tour the entire island. Getting There - getting there was extremely easy. take a simple 3 hour flight from London. We flew with Air Malta and there are buses that go to every part of the country. plus a Ferry boat that crosses between Sliema and Valletta Attractions - main places to see is the island of Gozo and Crystal Caves. It is not difficult to spot olive trees while strolling the sidewalks of Valletta in the autumn. In fact, olive trees have a long history of existence in the island of Malta as they had been introduced by the Phoenician seafarers in the 1st millenium B.C. I was here in mid-October and it was just the beginning of autumn and the olives are still not too ripe. But soon, the olives will be ripe and scattered all over the ground. The view from the roof top was very breathtaking. Almost panoramic view of the city . Breakfast was good as well . The refundable caution deposit was taken on arrival at €50 per day. Would have been nice to pre inform guest of this so they better prepared . Went to several attractions in the city and went for the Good Friday procession. I would advise you don’t miss that if you are around at Easter time of the year. Overall was a very good stay.

Many people will head to Mdina in the morning, so wait until the afternoon to explore and it will be less crowded. It’s about 20-25 minutes from Valletta by taxi or 45 minutes by bus. Mdina is the perfect place to chill out and have a little wander around the labyrinth of streets. Oh, and the views from Bastion Square are amazing, you can literally see half way across the island! Day 2: GOZO Malta is actually a small archipelago made up of 5 islands, the second largest being Gozo. And it’s a must-visit for your 3 day Malta itinerary! I love Gozo, it’s usually described as what Malta used to be like or the “hidden gem” of Malta. If you are staying in Valletta, there is a fast boat that goes directly from the Grand Harbour to Gozo. The fast ferry runs frequently throughout the day and takes about 45 minutes. It’s also a great way to see Malta from a different perspective, so sit on the left side of the boat! Day 3: BLUE GROTTO Get your day started early and head to the Blue Grotto on the southern coast of Malta. I recommend going to the viewpoint first, there is a bus stop if you are taking the bus, or you can tell your Bolt driver to drop you off there. The Blue Grotto is one of the many cave complexes around the island, but you can take a small boat inside this one! The boat trip is only about 15 minutes, but it’s worth it to see the morning sun bouncing off the water and throughout the cave walls. MARSAXLOKK When you are finished with the Blue Grotto, head to Marsaxlokk on the east coast. This is the perfect place to grab some lunch because there are so many restaurants to choose from right on the waterfront. Marsaxlokk is the island’s most picturesque fishing village, known for its colorful luzzo boats (traditional Maltese fishing boats) bobbing around in the harbor. The seafood scene here is amazing and the Sunday market is a must-visit if you are lucky enough to time your trip right!

They serve as the cradle of Maltese history and formed a crucial defensive line during the rule of the Knights, with historical sites even older than those in Valletta.
