If you’re planning a trip, these are a few stops I’d definitely add to the itinerary 👇 🚋 Sóller One of the most charming towns on the island. Walk around the historic centre, explore the smaller streets and watch the iconic wooden tram pass through town. The area around Plaça de la Constitució is especially beautiful. 📸 Don’t miss: · The historic Sóller tram · Plaça de la Constitució · The streets around the old town · Local shops and markets · A slow wander with no particular route — some of my favourite spots were the ones we simply came across 🌿 Valldemossa Possibly one of the prettiest villages in Mallorca. Stone houses, green shutters, plants everywhere and narrow cobbled streets make the whole village feel incredibly picturesque. 🥐 Stop at Ca’n Molinas A traditional bakery in Valldemossa and a great place to take a break. If you visit, try a coca de patata, the soft potato bun Valldemossa is famous for. ☕ Take time for the cafés One thing I loved about these villages was how easy it was to find little terraces and cafés tucked beneath the trees. Mallorca is definitely a place where slowing down is part of the experience. 🌊 And of course… the coast Save some time for Mallorca’s coves and beaches. After exploring the villages, ending the day by the Mediterranean is hard to beat. Went with my sister for a relaxing vacation and it was absolutely perfect. The location was strategic, close to all the must-visit spots in Mallorca like Deia, Valldemossa, and Santanyí. The food experience was great, with plenty of variety at both breakfast and dinner; we especially enjoyed the live cooking station. Yuma was very friendly, and we loved the entertainment, especially bingo night. The staff was incredibly kind and always available to help with anything we needed.

The pictures truly don't do justice to how spacious and beautiful the rooms are. We stayed in the sea-facing junior suite, and it was a perfect 10/10 experience. Spending six nights there, we'll really miss the breathtaking sea views, especially during sunset. The room had plenty of storage, huge beds, a smart TV, a clothes warmer, a generously sized balcony with a couch, and even a beach bag with towels – everything we could possibly need. Highly recommended if you're staying in the Valldemossa/Deia area!

Gon welcomed us warmly and spent a lot of time showing us around and sharing the fascinating history of Valldemossa. It was the most personal welcome we’ve ever received. The rest of the staff was equally kind, attentive, and hospitable throughout our visit. The pool area is simply gorgeous. Most of the time, only a few guests were present, making it the perfect retreat to relax in peace and quiet. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. The hotel’s restaurant, De Tokyo A Lima, is exceptional and definitely worth a visit. Be sure to reserve a table early, as it's very popular among both guests and locals. We would return without hesitation and are already excited to visit again.

I took the TIB bus 210 from Palma (€2.50, 40 min), arrived at 09:00 in May, paid €5 entry to the monastery (cells, piano, manuscripts). The cliff moss is the monastery's north wall: Fissidens and Cratoneuron in the limestone seep where the cloister drains, Sphagnum in the monastery garden's shaded beds, and the cliff below the village viewpoint has Racomitrium on the wind-clipped ledge—the view is the Tramuntana crest, the moss frames the photo. I sat in the cloister at 09:30, the moss silver, a finch on the fountain, the bells at 10:00. The monastery is the only paid sight; the village streets are free. Mistake: I came on a Sunday in July and the monastery was a queue—weekday or 09:00 opening. Another: I paid €5 entry and expected a guided tour—it's self-audioguide, bring headphones. Would you visit Valldemossa monastery for the cloister-moss at 09:00, or skip the €5 and walk the cliff path to Son Marroig for the sea view?

Fantastic from start to finish! Antonio and his team create an unbeatable sense of home in paradise, a rare feat we've rarely experienced despite traveling widely. The property offers remarkable value, especially during peak summer on this bustling island, which saw 32 million visitors through Palma airport last year—more than Cameroon’s population. From the peaceful, delightful atmosphere to unique features like wild goats and sheep roaming the hills near the pool overlooking Valldemossa, every detail contributes to an authentic local experience. The beautiful and quiet rooms ensure a restful sleep after days exploring charming hillside towns and secluded calas, which Antonio eagerly recommends. Breakfast and dinner services were another standout aspect. The included breakfast was the perfect start to our days—don’t miss the special scramble or other delectable options. Dinner surpassed expectations with an unforgettable meal paired with stunning views of Valldemossa lit up at night, a truly rare setting. A few additional points: · Incredibly pet-friendly without being overwhelming, creating a welcoming atmosphere even for furry friends. · Our room had fantastic rooftop loungers offering breathtaking town views throughout the day and night. · The walk to Valldemossa takes around 30 minutes and was manageable even in flip-flops. Returning after a wine-filled evening proved slightly trickier but still worth it. In summary—don’t hesitate to visit! Antonio’s team excels in hospitality. We just left Hotel Mirabo today and I have only wonderful things to share. The hotel itself is stunning; the building is gorgeous, incredibly clean, well-maintained, and authentically charming. The location is ideal and tranquil, just a short walk or drive from Valldemossa, as well as beautiful destinations like Deia or Soller. The hotel rooms are fantastic—spacious, well-equipped, and spotless. The hotel grounds are equally impressive, featuring numerous picturesque nooks and relaxing spaces, including a pool! What makes Hotel Mirabo even more special is the amazing Antonio and his team. Antonio is so warm, welcoming, and truly embodies the role of the perfect host. He’s absolutely marvelous and has excellent island recommendations that are all spot-on. I can't even begin to describe how fantastic this place is. We were welcomed by the manager, Antonio, who is truly one of the nicest people I've ever encountered. He provided outstanding care and ensured that we had everything we needed. This spot feels like paradise tucked away at the end of a winding mountain road, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and offered breathtaking views. We'll definitely be returning!

I stayed at this property in late June/early July as a couple. The hotel, recommended by Eden Viaggi, is a well-maintained 4-star establishment. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are charming and well-furnished. Unfortunately, our room—a standard one with a lateral sea view—was really small, with tight spaces and a similarly small bathroom. However, this didn’t ruin our vacation, as the room was still beautiful, cleaned well by the staff, and the sea view was truly priceless! We opted for the half-board plan, excluding drinks. The beverages were a bit pricey but understandable given the 4-star rating. Exploring the island with our rental car, we did notice that dining prices were generally very high, at least for us Italians! That said, the hotel food was good, with nice breakfasts and dinners. The portions were well-balanced—not excessive—but everything was well-prepared and thoughtful. The hotel is directly by the sea, and the nearby Es Trenc Beach, which is absolutely stunning, can be reached with a 30-minute walk. Having breakfast and dinner with a sea view and a sunset every evening was absolutely wonderful. With the rental car, we explored Palma de Mallorca, the charming mountainside village of Valldemossa about 30 minutes from Palma, along with the beautiful and quiet southern beaches near Sant Jordi and several coves on the island’s west side. Our return flight was very late in the evening, and since the hotel was fully booked, late check-out wasn’t available. However, the property offered us access to a spacious, well-equipped courtesy bathroom, allowing us to shower and enjoy the entire day at the beach. Thank you!

#worthitomot #Mallorca #SonMarroig #SaForadada I drove the Ma-10 from Valldemossa to Son Marroig at 8 am, parked in the estate lot (free), and paid €4 for the Casa Museo—Archduke Ludwig Salvator’s 19th-c. rooms, period furniture, and a Carrara marble rotunda framing the sea toward Sa Foradada.The pierced rock (18 m hole punched through a 400 m peninsula) is visible from the terrace for €0 if you skip the museum. I chose the hike: 6.7 km round trip, 260 m descent/ascent, 2.5–3h, free, down a stony path the Archduke built, past olive terraces and a donkey or two, to the base of Sa Foradada where a seasonal paella shack takes cash only (€14 plate). Mistake: I started at 11 am in June and the climb back cooked me—2 L water was barely enough, and the gravel is ankle-rolling without boots. Another mistake: thinking the beach near the rock is sandy; it’s flat rock shelves, great for a dip but bring reef shoes. The boat from Port de Sóller (€25 return) is the lazy alternative. Worth it? Yes if you want Tramuntana without the Deià crowds—the €4 museum adds context, the hike adds awe, but one of them is enough. Question: is the 6.7 km descent to touch the rock worth more than the marble rotunda view from above, or does the arch hit harder from the clifftop?

While passing through Valldemossa, we stopped by this hotel for a drink. Their terrace offers breathtaking views that are impossible to ignore. The service was warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed some delightful local wines. The decor is fantastic, and my wife mentioned the toilets are exceptionally well-designed. We’ll definitely return!
