The scones here were really delicious! And since this place is also used as a hostel, I recommend it if you want a unique experience. Magpie Cafe is really famous for its fish and chips. The Fisherman's Wife Whitby is a famous seafood restaurant in Whitby, offering fresh seafood dishes alongside stunning sea views. Conveniently located in the heart of the town, it's easy to find and situated along the path to the viewpoint. Be aware that the restaurant gets very crowded during lunch and dinner hours. To avoid long waits, it's recommended to visit around 11 AM for lunch or before 6 PM for dinner. Their signature dish, fish and chips, is a must-try, featuring incredibly fresh fish. Another surprising delight is the baked mussels, which are fresh, plump, and free of any fishy smell—truly a wow moment. Fried shrimp and scallops are also highly recommended. While there are many other dishes to choose from, we couldn't try them all. If you're visiting Whitby, this restaurant is a must-visit for fresh and delicious seafood that won't disappoint.

However, Whitby is much more than that. It's the place where Captain Cook set sail, and it flourished during the Age of Exploration. It's also the birthplace of vampire culture. 130 years ago, the Irish novelist Bram Stoker wrote the famous vampire novel *Dracula* in Whitby. · Whitby is not a big town, but half a day is still a rush. From the ancient abbey ruins to the bustling harbor and beach, it was undoubtedly the most memorable part of my trip to England. The weather was also very fitting.
