I recently stayed at Chateau Bedford, and had a great experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you're coming from the airport. It’s also close to COSTCO and IKEA, which was super handy for some quick shopping. Getting to downtown and the main shopping malls was also easy, making it a great base for exploring the area.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay better. The room was very clean, and the facilities were good, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area.

The location is great, not too close to the heart of downtown. We can enjoy the serenity of the surrounding area, it's close to the historical site of citadel and public Garden, with a few steps, you can ride on bus which connects you to anywhere even to the airport. The hotel room is spacious, with good air conditioning and heated floor. The room cleaning is fine but towels we're missing after the first cleaning on the next day. However the bulky air conditioner is quite noisy and our room is close to the ice producing machine, so sometimes you will be disdisturbed disturbed,

The room was clean. Parking is free. Swimming pool until 22 o'clock, there is a hot pool, there is a slide. Free coffee is provided in the hotel lobby in the morning. There are fast food restaurants such as Tims, A&W at the entrance of the hotel. There are IKEA, costco, outlets nearby. Convenient and clean hotel
The last night of the trip, the next day's trip to Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and then Halifax Airport. So, this location is more convenient. We arrived at the hotel at 8:00 pm that day. I ordered salmon with rice and ginger beef rice, lobster Putin in the hotel restaurant. The third fish with rice and ginger beef rice was amazing.
The hotel is business-oriented. There are two beds, free breakfast and free parking.
Lovely and friendly hotel which is selected for the second time. Better than in staying downtown if you don't mind in driving. Amenities and shopping malls surrounded. Highly recommended. Will be in staying this hotel if visit Halifax again.
Rooms are a little small, but generally clean. Old fashioned air conditioner/heater, which was hard to set a consistent temperature in the room. The breakfast room was a little cramped, but we were pleasantly surprised at the hot breakfast itself . Not fancy, but good value as it was included in the room price and the food was nice and hot. Reasonable value for money for the economy traveller. All staff were friendly and attentive. We'd stay again.
PPHILLIP JAMESThis hotel is about 5 min shuttle ride from the airport. The free shuttle operates every thirty minutes to and from the airport. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and service here was exceptional for the evening meal. Note: There is no external restaurants or shops near the hotel. However, there is a very interesting Aviation Museum, just 2 minute walk from the hotel. You could easily spend about 1 to 2 hours exploring the exhibits and admission is free, but small donation is requested. The tariff includes a complimentary breakfast, which is very similar to 2-3 star hotel establishments, with plastic plates and cutlery. The only hot option is eggs and a sausage mix or similar. The rooms have a microwave, and small sink (a mini kitchen). There is a communal laundry which operates on a coin system using commercial washing machines and dryers. An internal pool is also available. My room has some views of airports - (freight aircraft) across the freeway. Overall, this hotel represents good value for money, especially compared to other airport options.
EEunice Gale DorongonCheckin was smooth, staff are nice and very accommodating, only thing is we were checked in a room where there are tick bugs. It was so horrifying, we checked in with our toddler as well. They were able to tranfer us to a different room, everyone was prompt to action this. But i dont think im gonna stay again at this hotel next time
