The staff were enthusiastic and proactively helped me upgrade my room, and even thoughtfully provided recommendations for exploring the surrounding area. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jingdezhen!

The butler service was excellent; they contacted us via WeChat two days in advance, and after check-in, promptly and proactively sent us various information and even arranged exclusive activities. On the day of arrival, we joined the butler for a photoshoot in the rapeseed fields, and the next morning, we strolled through the ancient village with them, listening to stories of old houses. During both activities, the butlers were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive. They paid special attention to elderly guests and those who loved taking photos, ensuring no one got left behind, and frequently reminded us about the slippery stone paths on rainy days. Other staff members at the guesthouse were also very proactive and pleasant. The only minor inconvenience was that the guesthouse rooms were quite spread out, making the walk to the breakfast restaurant a bit far.

The quality of Kaiyuan Guan Tang is consistently excellent; this large chain brand truly delivers. The hotel environment is fantastic, like a classical garden park where every step reveals a new beautiful scene. We parked at the main entrance, and the hotel arranged for a buggy to take us directly to our room. They also offer a Hanfu experience, which is perfect for photography enthusiasts. The service was outstanding. Upon signing up for membership, we immediately received extra breakfast vouchers and a complimentary upgrade to a family room. The room was incredibly spacious, and the facilities were quite new. The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the cakes and rice noodles were especially delicious. I want to give a special shout-out to Chen Yongman, the concierge at the front desk. He was incredibly kind and attentive, helping us retrieve an item our child had lost. This made the end of our trip feel exceptionally pleasant.

The Hyatt Place at Taoxichuan is great. I stayed here for four nights on a solo trip to explore Jingdezhen and I was very satisfied. The location was right across the street from the weekend evening market where I got some lovely ceramic pieces and enjoyed some nice local beer. Great lobby treats on sale too. I tried the ice cream and local beer. Highly recommend the JDZ stout and lager. Customer service was great and when I had a question about my laundry service (slight delay on the return of a jacket I needed to clean) they were prompt in following up and getting my clothes back. Flawless room, service, and location. Only things I would recommend as a possible change could be a smart toilet (not sure if it was due to my cheapest room choice or not) and maybe some limited edition items at the breakfast buffet to make things more exciting. Delicious food though, for multiple mornings that I tried it. Also, the commute/drive time to Sanbao Village could be updated because there is more traffic going into the village on that one lane drive now. I ended up walking into it and walking back to the hotel to get my steps. Highly recommend Hyatt Place Taoxichuan for a relaxing stay in Jingdezhen.
