Itinerary: 3 days and 2 nites in Nanchang (hotel will be provided)
Location: Close to attractions (you can walk to places like Wisteria Pavilion, Wanshou Palace, Frog Street Nite Market, and Dasi Courtyard), which saves on transportation costs.
Food: There is a whole row of food behind the hotel. Mainly, it's too cold in February, but there are restaurants near the hotel, making it convenient to walk 5 minutes to enjoy the food.
Breakfast: Baofa Gan Cuisine Restaurant, their prices are reasonable.
Dinner: Gan Liu Ji. Jiangxi stir-fry.
Of course, the hotel also offers delicious food, but I didn't get a chance to try it.
Service: Since I arrived at the hotel at 11 PM with a reservation, the hotel staff gave my room to someone else. However, the next day they upgraded me to a room by the window facing the street. I didn't sleep well, so it's better not to do that, even tho I could see the outside scenery. Finally, when checking out, with the hotel's permission, I took the conditioner, shampoo, and body wash because I really liked their subtle fragrance.
I came to play on May Day and booked this hotel. Although it was a holiday, the price was very suitable. The hotel is very large, decorated very attentively and upscale, with scenery everywhere and a swimming pool. The breakfast is also very rich. In short, it is worth it!
Xiao Xie at the front desk is very warm and considerate, and actively helps to solve problems. Thumbs up👍👍👍

My child had a great impression of the hotel and said they want to stay here again next time we visit Jingdezhen.
First, the pros: The location is excellent, very close to Taoyangli Scenic Area and the Imperial Kiln, within walking distance. The family room is spacious and even comes with a tea room. The decor is more unique and locally inspired compared to generic chain hotels. There's also a 'South Wall' right at the hotel, so you don't have to queue up at Sanbao Village for photos. The cleaning staff were very thorough, and all frontline employees were very patient.
Now for the cons: The lighting only has two modes: bright and ambient. It's either all on or all off; there are no table lamps or floor lamps. After my child went to bed early, if the adults wanted to relax or entertain themselves, they had to sit near the bathroom door or in the tea room, relying on the faint streetlights outside. If you needed to use the restroom at night, you'd have to use your phone for light. Additionally, the breakfast variety and taste were rather mediocre.
Overall, it's still quite good.

This hotel, nestled at the highest point of the ancient village, is truly unique. It's a beautifully restored old residence, maintaining its original charm while being renovated to modern luxury hotel standards. The stay was incredibly comfortable, offering great views and easy access to attractions. The room views were particularly stunning. A dedicated hotel通道 for the cable car is available, with hotel shuttles providing transfers to and from the cable car station. Upon arrival, a staff member helped carry our luggage to the room, so there's no need to worry about the elevation or handling heavy bags. I was genuinely surprised that a hotel in an ancient village could be so refined and comfortable – it far exceeded my expectations.

During the holiday, this room is over 160 yuan, which is OK. It is only 100 yuan more than usual. At this price, there is no requirement for hygiene. The score for hygiene will not be very low.
The service attitude of the front desk sister is quite good. Everything is acceptable, but the most unbearable thing is the smell. It is too smelly. The smell cannot be displayed here. It is too uncomfortable for me to sleep with a mask and toilet paper. It is really too smelly. It is much worse than the smell of the hotel I have stayed in for dozens of yuan. It is almost the same as the odor of the bathroom at home😖The weather is very good but the room is very smelly. I don’t know where it comes from. Anyway, the whole room is filled with a suffocating smell😭I don’t know about other room types. Only this room, those who mind the smell can choose this one
(The mosquito coil liquid is not to show hygiene, but to remind that there are mosquitoes that bite people all the time. People with mosquito-absorbing constitution can plug the mosquito coil liquid before going to bed, so as not to be bitten and wake up in the middle of the night and touch the dust in a daze)
Got stuck in traffic, arrived at the hotel quite late. Master Liu Jianfeng was very enthusiastic and gave us some great recommendations. Since it was so late, we decided to eat at the hotel, and to our surprise, dinner was delicious! We practically licked our plates clean. The front desk staff, Yingying and Qiuqiu, were fantastic; they gave us two rooms and even complimentary breakfast. We're so grateful! This was just a stopover hotel, but it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. Next time we have a chance, we'll definitely make a special trip to Shangrao to explore.

The best decision I made on this trip to Jingdezhen was choosing the Hyatt Place! The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable – just across the street from Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Street, a few minutes' walk to immerse yourself in the lively market atmosphere. When you're tired from exploring, you can easily head back to the hotel to rest, and at night, you can stroll around and enjoy the street's evening views. For travelers who want to deeply experience ceramic culture, it couldn't be more convenient.
The architectural design was an even bigger surprise, created by Pritzker Prize winner David Chipperfield. The terracotta exterior, combined with emerald green and wave blue interiors, and the ceramic tile decorations in the public areas constantly echo the theme of the Porcelain Capital. Every photo you take looks like a high-quality shot. The rooms are simple yet stylish, clean, tidy, and odor-free. Some room types even have small balconies, perfect for enjoying the breeze. The hotel thoughtfully provides 3M earplugs, so you don't have to worry about the bustling street affecting your rest.
The service was so heartwarming it's unforgettable. The breakfast is rich and distinctive, with authentic local mixed noodles, fried dough sticks wrapped in mochi, and Waguang soup. Paired with both Chinese and Western dishes and custom Taoxichuan tea bags, it was incredibly satisfying. The travel photoshoot included in the package also exceeded expectations; the retouched photos were of excellent quality, and I couldn't resist adding more to the package.
In addition, the hotel offers a full range of facilities, including a 24-hour fitness center, free WiFi, and parking. You can also directly access the high-quality buffet at the adjacent Hyatt Centric via a walkway, which features everything from seafood and hotpot to desserts. Whether you're heading to Taoyangli or Sanbao Village, transportation is very convenient, offering incredible value for money. Next time I come to Jingdezhen, I will definitely choose this place again! Housekeeper Lynne was incredibly responsive to all requests.

Among the hotels nearby, this is the most cost-effective hotel. The service attitude and room facilities are very good. The shower water is also large. The room area is also sufficient. The sleeping products are also worth the price of just over 100 yuan.

After taking the cable car up, the hotel's shuttle bus was there to pick us up and take us to the reception center. From the reception center, it was about a 10-minute walk to the hotel, all on flagstone paths, which was a bit of a trek! 😂 But a huge thanks to the staff member who helped drag my luggage. The room itself was spacious, and the view from the balcony was decent. The only downside was the internet, which was pretty mediocre. Compared to the hotels in Wunvzhou Resort, the main drawback here is that you still have to pay extra for the scenic area entrance ticket.

I booked a lake-view king room, and overall, the experience and accommodation environment were very good. The only two drawbacks were breakfast and parking. For breakfast, the dining hours are from 7 AM to 11 AM. Due to the holiday crowd, most people chose to eat between 9 AM and 10 AM to avoid peak times. However, the restaurant staff started rushing us to clear the tables around 10:30 AM, telling us to hurry up. Their service attitude was extremely unfriendly. Milk and soy milk were barely refilled; they'd just shake the container to give you a small serving. As for parking, it was also extremely inconvenient. They directed everyone to the underground garage, which led to chaotic parking, with cars lining the access aisles. The hotel's aggressive customer acquisition without adequate capacity will definitely lead to customer loss.

GGuest UserThe room facilities are relatively new. The tree stump table at the head of the bed has a faint pine fragrance. There is also a small refrigerator for refrigerating uneaten fruits. The boss is very enthusiastic and provides punctual pick-up and drop-off to and from the scenic area. The breakfast provided by the breakfast shop tastes good, and a small gift is given upon check-out.
LLiuxiaomidetikuanjiDidn't expect to book this place randomly and have such a great experience! The room was super clean, and the price was really affordable. It's a guesthouse with excellent value for money. Highly recommend!
The owner was incredibly generous, offering free rides to attractions – the service was top-notch 👍. Breakfast was the owner's homemade dishes, and I especially recommend the mixed noodles! It was absolutely delicious! The owner also enthusiastically shared their homemade pickled vegetables, which tasted out of this world!!
The place is very photogenic, and parking is easy! Extremely satisfied 👍
Considering the service, safety, and quietness, it's truly perfect for travelers! Definitely worth five stars!
GGuest UserThe first hotel on this trip was a twin-bed family room. The room was very small, so small that there was not much space to open the suitcase. The decoration was thoughtful, but it was a bit difficult to walk to the scenic spot. The key point was that there was a power outage just when we were about to go to bed. They said that the whole village was short of electricity. Fortunately, it was not hot at night, and the windows were not very ventilated. The terrible thing was that there was a small power outage in the middle of the night, and the whole house suddenly lit up. I had to get up to turn off the lights, and then there was a power outage again. The mobile phone was not fully charged all night, and the hair dryer in the bathroom was not powerful enough. I blew my hair for half an hour but it was not dry. I don’t know what the problem was. In addition, we brought several children and wanted two more quilts, but we were told that only one bed was available. The boss and his family were very enthusiastic. Alas, the experience at the first stop was not very good.
CConnie M.A Heartwarming Home Away From Home: Exceptional Hospitality at Yunyashan Residence
My recent, though short, stay at Yunyashan Residence in Shangrao was, without a doubt, the most personalized and genuinely heartwarming hospitality experience I have ever had while traveling. I was also pleased to find that the room looked exactly as advertised in the pictures, confirming the quality and truthfulness of their listing. As a solo traveler, finding support can sometimes be challenging, but the owner here provided absolutely tremendous support that made me feel safe and cared for. It truly felt like being welcomed into a Chinese family.
The owner’s kindness goes far beyond the typical expectations of a hotel stay. When I had an unfortunate stomach problem, she immediately stepped in, cooking delicious and comforting rice with egg for me not once, but twice, all completely free of charge. Furthermore, she even washed my clothes, a generous gesture that showcases her remarkable dedication to guest comfort. These selfless acts were invaluable, particularly when traveling alone and feeling under the weather.
Beyond the personal care, the residence also offers free transportation to the sightseeing site in Wangxian Valley Town, which is a fantastic and convenient perk for exploring the local area.
My time at Yunyashan Residence was short, but it was incredibly relaxing. The atmosphere is tranquil, and the genuine warmth from the owner transformed a simple lodging experience into a deeply nurturing and memorable one. I highly recommend Yunyashan Residence to anyone seeking a peaceful stay paired with truly exceptional, familial hospitality in Shangrao.
WWHUThis is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money!
The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing.
Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁
The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift.
Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍
The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes.
We liked it here so much that we booked a second night.
There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby.
Thank you! 🙏
GGuest UserI honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough. Private pick up from shangrao station. Owner meet us when we arrived the hotel, carried our bags upstairs. Beautiful clean room, comfortable beds, nothing was too much of issue. Driven to Wangxian Valley and picked up later that same night. Breakfast is included ( we declined. Not breakfast people ) private transport back to Shangrao station.
Wangxian valley is breathtaking, it’s purely spectacular. Off season would be my choice to go, we went on Sunday in January and crowds light. Go late afternoon before the sun sets the real magic happens when it gets dark.
The only place to stay.

GGuest UserThe Rhododendron Valley Glamping Site is situated in the core scenic area of Mount Sanqing, offering close-up views of iconic attractions such as Goddess Peak and Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain. It also boasts incredible sunrise vistas. What truly stood out was the exceptionally warm and attentive service from the site manager and staff, which left us with a profound appreciation for Mount Sanqing's magnificent scenery and the genuine hospitality of its people.
GGuest UserI booked a room with two beds even though I was traveling alone, so the owner kindly upgraded me to a room with one bed and a better view. When they noticed I hadn’t eaten yet, they walked with me and recommended some good restaurants nearby.
The next morning, when I wanted to visit Wangxiang Valley, the owner helped me and even drove me there on her electric bicycle. Later, when I asked about the cost of getting to Shangrao train station, she said she knew a driver who could take me for less than a regular taxi.
The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. This was the first time I saw a bathroom air-conditioner with heating, which is perfect for staying warm after a shower :). The lady owner and her husband were so kind and hospitable. If I visit Wangxiang Valley again, I would definitely stay here.
Even though I don’t speak Chinese and they don’t speak English, we communicated using WeChat, and they helped me overcome every challenge during my stay. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this hotel an 11! As a family-run hotel, it brought back the warmth and hospitality that only locals can provide.
P.S. Listen to the owner when she tells you the best time to visit Wangxiang Valley. I didn’t, and I ended up waiting over an hour outside the scenic area because it wasn’t open yet! :)))
