Pet friendly Hotels in Sichuan, China

I really wanted to give a good review, but after much hesitation, I decided to be honest. As soon as I entered the room, I found a slipper behind the door, which shows the cleaning wasn't very thorough. The wooden trim by the bed was broken (see picture), exposing a nail, and I scraped my calf when I walked past it. I told the front desk staff, and they said they'd send someone to fix it, but they didn't show any concern for my injury. The wound got a bit inflamed, which inconvenienced my subsequent travel. I just hope they actually fix it so the next guest doesn't get hurt. The LED strip light by the bed had also fallen off. Overall, it feels like the hotel isn't very well-maintained, and the price of over 700 yuan per night doesn't quite match the service; it's a bit too high.

This hotel feels more like a guesthouse. I booked a twin room with a friend, and we both thought it was pretty good. The service was excellent, the tea was delicious, and they even had incense for Buddhist prayers. We took two when we left, haha! I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

Our stay at the Grand ParcVue was excellent! The front reception were so friendly and helpful. Our suite had multiple rooms and was spacious, clean, and suited all of our needs. The breakfast buffet had amazing options from salads, chinese foods, noodle soups, freshly pressed juice, and a variety of fruits. It was the best meal I had in China! I would stay here again 100%!

Staying at VOCO Hotel by Chunxi Road in Chengdu was such a pleasant surprise! The entire hotel building is stunning, with its ginkgo-themed lobby and famous spiral staircase – perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. The room was bright and spacious, offering city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was incredibly soft and relaxing, and the minibar was fully stocked. As a guest, I also enjoyed a delightful high-end buffet afternoon tea. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the shopping district, so you can easily pop back for a quick rest if you get tired. The staff were all very kind and attentive, and the concierge service was incredibly thoughtful and detailed. I'll definitely be back!

This hotel is pretty good for being near the scenic area. I booked it based on recommendations from Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). The room size and overall design are excellent! I had read some reviews about poor soundproofing, but honestly, it was completely quiet! No issues there at all. I particularly want to thank Lynn. I had some supplies delivered to the hotel, and she contacted me almost a week in advance to help with an upgrade. She was incredibly responsive, answering all my questions and making sure all my requests were noted and handled. She also gave great recommendations for local food, drinks, and activities. On my last day, as I was leaving, my earphones fell out of my bag. The cleaning lady/greeter at the entrance helped me pick them up. Honestly, I was really touched by such thoughtful attention to detail. This hotel is perfect for a relaxing, slow-paced trip. Highly recommend it! 👍 I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I'm just sharing a few pictures of the snacks Lynn recommended! They were super delicious, hehe. 😁

Our room in Kangding had a beautiful view. It was clean and spacious. The staff was very welcoming putting a lot of effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Besides they made great coffee! You can enjoy the coffee sitting on the terrace which has a beautiful view over the mountains. Especially the receptionist Bing invested so much effort to help us organize our trip and giving us an unforgettable evening. The location is also not far from the city center. You can reach it by walking. We would definitely visit again! ☺️

The hotel is conveniently located near the subway, making it easy to get to the high-speed rail station. Downstairs, there's a plaza with plenty of shopping and dining options. Its most outstanding feature is the stylish decor. Even the iron and hairdryer in the room are uniquely designed. There's a really special staff member at the front desk – you'll have to discover them for yourself! The rooftop bar is a great spot to relax in the evening, and the bartender makes excellent drinks.

I am very satisfied with this stay experience. The boss used to play antique literature, so the decoration style of the whole homestay is unique, very distinctive and charming. And the boss wife is very enthusiastic with the staff, prepared Rhodiola, oxygen cylinders, etc. in case we have any discomfort. Dinner and the young lady dance performance, the next day we took us to the forest to hike, and also fed the groundhog, very relaxed. I heard from the boss that I can see the horse deer, ride horses, etc. in the future, and I will definitely come again in the future!

The accommodation is very clean, and the bathrooms are also spotless. However, you need to check which rooms have squat toilets and which have Western-style toilets, as both types are available. The landlady is very kind. Breakfast costs an additional 10 RMB per person and includes rice, eggs, and bread. The guesthouse is a bit tucked away, so you'll need to contact the landlady, and she will come out to meet you. It seems like a community of ***** people live here, so the accommodation is styled entirely in that ***** aesthetic. The theme of the entire village is very well done.

The hotel rooms were neat and clean, offering great value for money. What impressed me most was that each room had its own direct drinking water dispenser instead of the traditional electric kettle. This is something I'd honestly recommend all hotels adopt. Tea and coffee lovers would definitely appreciate it, as you no longer have to worry about what others might have boiled in the kettle! The disposable towels, bath towels, and cups also provided peace of mind. The hot spring water was wonderfully warm too. All in all, I'm very satisfied.
