We really liked the location as it was close to Sennen where we love to visit. We were recommended the hotel by a friend who has used it many times in the past. We booked the room via a third party company and it was a late booking. As a result we were in a room at the rear of the hotel so no view. The room looked like it had been recently redecorated and the bathroom had been updated. The shower lacked somewhere to put your soap or shampoo was was a bit inconvenient and there was no where you could hang your clothes. The room was clean and comfortable. The service a breakfast was a bit erratic as the staff appeared a bit inexperienced.

PetiteIndiantravlerA lovely family-run stay in Cornwall ❤️
We had a wonderful stay at The Liscawn and really enjoyed the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind and friendly, which made us feel very comfortable and at home.
The room was clean and well looked after, and the location is absolutely peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views. It’s also very close to some lovely coastal walks and the beach, which was perfect for enjoying the beauty of Cornwall.
The highlight for us was definitely the proper English breakfast — fresh, delicious and just what you want to start the day!
Overall, a charming place with lovely people, a peaceful location and a homely feel. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend The Liscawn to anyone looking for a relaxing Cornish getaway. ❤️

Linda and Steve were very hospitable, and we felt warmly welcomed throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean and well-maintained.
However, the soundproofing could be improved, so I would recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Our room also had a noticeable chemical odour, possibly from the wallpaper. Although we were told it had been there for years, the smell was quite strong, so this may be a concern for guests with asthma or sensitivity to scents.
The location is very convenient, around a 10-minute walk to the city centre and also close to the seaside.
Overall, it was a good stay, and I would still recommend it.

Excellent Saturday night stay celebrating various birthdays etc.
Made to feel like a VIP from start to finish.
Unfortunately, we couldn't stay for lunch, but every meal we've had at The Brunel has been epic.
