Knowing the quality of service of the lodges on Lake Baikal, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located a little away from Khuzhir, overlooking the famous rock of Olkhon Island (popularly called the picture). Externally, the houses look like a children's camp)), the rooms inside are quite comfortable. There is a swimming pool on site and a free sauna nearby. Considering the cold water of Baikal, warming up and taking a dip in the sauna is great. The restaurant's food is delicious, but the prices are a bit expensive, but the breakfast is a gorgeous buffet, everything is delicious!

Отличный отель в сердце Иркутска Останавливалась в историческом отеле «Централь» во время поездки в Иркутск и осталась очень довольна выбором. Прежде всего, стоит отметить идеальное расположение. Отель находится в тихом переулке в самом центре города, в историческом здании конца XIX века. Все основные достопримечательности, музеи и набережная Ангары — в шаговой доступности. При этом ночью на улице было совершенно тихо, что гарантировало спокойный сон. Номер (я жила в дизайнерском ретро) был чистым, уютным и продуманным до мелочей. Очень удобная кровать с качественным постельным бельем, современная ванная комната и приятные бонусы — халаты, тапочки и косметика. Отдельных похвал заслуживает сервис. Персонал на ресепшене был очень приветливым и отзывчивым, помогал со всеми вопросами. При заезде угостили фирменной настойкой — приятный сибирский жест. Однозначно рекомендую этот отель как для деловых поездок, так и для отдыха. Соотношение цены и качества здесь на одном из самых высоких уровней в городе. Обязательно остановлюсь здесь вновь во время следующего визита в Иркутск!

The hotel is situated on the shores of Lake Baikal, offering views of the lake right from the doorstep—a fantastic location. It's also not far from Ryukyu town, just a ten-minute taxi ride away. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, speaking English and even using her own phone number to connect us to the Wi-Fi. The hotel dinner was also excellent, and she was very patient during our communication. Highly recommended. The room was very clean, and included a kettle, hairdryer, and wardrobe—very welcoming for Chinese guests.

First off, mainland Chinese tourists need to adjust their expectations. On an island like this, amenities and infrastructure are naturally not as comprehensive, so some inconveniences are to be expected. Now, regarding the room: it was very clean, and the view from the balcony was excellent. There was plenty of hot water, although the water pressure was inconsistent, fluctuating between strong and weak. However, this is quite normal, and the hot water was very hot, perfect for washing hair and showering. The town only has one main road, and the hotel is right by it, making getting around very convenient. The town center is just a five-minute walk away. Next to the hotel is a park, and the bubble ice on its lake is even more beautiful than Lake Baikal's. I recommend bringing a thermos of hot water to take photos there. Breakfast was plentiful. I stayed in a room on the third floor of a small building, and I suggest booking a similar room type. These rooms are closer to the hot water facilities, so the toilet flush and hot water supply are more consistent. The front desk is often unstaffed, but if you add the owner on WeChat, they will respond – I recommend doing so. The owner's cat is very friendly and loves being petted. I brought cat food and treats, and it really enjoyed them.

I had a great time traveling with friends. The dates we booked were perfect, and everyone was so friendly. I'll definitely stay there again next time; the environment is wonderful. So happy!

The hotel and service were very enjoyable from the recipes to the breakfast in the room. The cozy rooms, designers managed to combine classic, elegant with the literary and historical retro style inspired by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. The mirrors were particularly impressed from the ceiling to the floor. Interesting design in the corridors. The overall atmosphere is intelligent, warm, a little old, but without excessive pompousness. Everything in the hotel is filled with the atmosphere of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin, in the elevator read his poems, in the rooms is a book of poems and even chocolate hand-work with his image. Stop twice (06.10.2025 and 17.10.2025). Beautiful location - close to the airport and no noise from the road. Excellent, responsive staff - starting from the resepshne, ending delivery to the room from the restaurant. Breakfasts are great, in a cozy restaurant. Food in the restaurant of Hunters - a separate story! Huge portions, delicious food... and, for especially prudent, small guests will prepare both cash and purée with salad 🙏 Very grateful to the staff! Any request for a call to the receptor is executed instantly, without long expectations - and from the side of the waiter and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I will not look for other options anymore, we will stay only in the Star 🫶🏻

The location is very good, the pink building of the main building is a landmark of Lizhen, and the minibus station is downstairs, and the transportation is convenient. If you live in an attached building, it is a little cheaper, health can be, the bed in the twin room is a narrow bed... If the room is on the front, you can still see the lake view. The breakfast and other rights are the same. His buffet breakfast has many varieties and good quality. ～
