Service is extremely friendly and unhurried. We will definitely revisit next time we are in France. You’ve got to try the home made Baba au Rum!

Everything is perfect, the food is excellent, the staff is pleasant and friendly and when it's the chef himself who takes your menu it's exceptional, you don't see that elsewhere. Marcoles may be a very picturesque little village in Cantal, but we have an establishment here that will make you detour. To you day visitors or Cantaliens, don't hesitate to stop by you won't be disappointed.

TheForkUserA delightful setting, lovely terrace surrounded by magnificent trees. We were warmly greeted by the proprietor and his wife. Every course was explained in detail including cooking methods etc who took obvious pride in his work. The food was most original, beautifully presented and most enjoyable. He explained how his menues were changed every week depending on seasonal produce etc. We will happily go there again.

TheForkUserNice restaurant with good food. We were a bit disappointed concerning the wine list as well as the selection of the accompanying wines - so close to the Cahors appellation, we would have expected a better selection of Cahors wines accompanying our five courses.
