The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for our meal and being seated near the fireplace with two legs of lamb roasting added to the experience. The food was beautifully presented and all in all was a very enjoyable experience!

Fantastic little Italian restaurant. Food and service were really good.

A lovely original restaurant, good service, and good food.  It is quite expensive but worth it. We ate the gravalax salad - which was a surprise as in my head I&#39;d imagined smoked salmon and it was raw salmon.  The salmon rillettes were delicious.  The other main was the veal which was superb.

We always visit when we are here. The food is beyond excellent and service professional and friendly. Would highly recommend

Very nice place, very warm welcome, constant attention during the service, fresh and tasty dishes, a reasonable wine list, what more could you ask for?

Impeccable!  A delicious Saturday lunch at L&rsquo;Abbaye. The food was thoughtfully conceived making the best of seasonal ingredients and  beautifully presented.  The service was friendly, professional and unostentatious.  We appreciated the atmosphere of multigenerational families enjoying celebratory lunches in the historic Caen stone surroundings.
