20250416 9:00am We reluctantly bid farewell to Sydney Central Coast and rushed to the City of Newcastle. We passed by this Newcastle when we traveled around the east coast in 2022. That day, the wind was high and the waves were fierce, and I was almost blown into the sea. Although I didn't stay for too long, it left a deep impression on me. Its beautiful scenery made me miss it and often wanted to have a chance to see it again. This time I finally had time and specially arranged this trip. This visit really fulfilled my wish. The afternoon sun was warm and bright, and the indispensable sea breeze was still blowing but much weaker. The passage leading to the beacon tower was shining with golden light under the sun. On the right hand side were endless golden sand dunes, and various piled stones. Those stones were engraved with words and patterns, and some even had biblical stories. There were also beautiful vegetation with yellow and purple flowers blooming, which made people love. We walked back and forth, sighing at the beautiful scenery again, and after a short rest, we said goodbye to this beautiful and rich city. The next destination is the wine-producing area of New South Wales. Newcastle's location: on the east coast of New South Wales, Australia, located at the mouth of the Hunter River, about 162 kilometers northeast of Sydney, with direct intercity train access.
