The staff were amazing! excellent service, the food is as fresh as you can possibly get and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. They even brought a cake as a surprise. We'll definitely return.

overall very nice venue and interesting food. We enjoyed everything, although the teaspoon (literally) of hummus was a definite disappointment. Both meat and tuna bolo de caco were delicious.

Grilled fish and the monkfish prawn pasta were solid, oven potatoes a nice touch. Prices run a bit high but you get what you pay for. Desserts? Skip em.

Came back here four times on our trip. João and Bianca remember you, treat you right. Fish changes daily, always fresh. Solid spot.

Best meal in Portugal, hands down. Right by the monastery. The cod special was huge and cheesy, baked just right. House wine did the job too. Staff kept up even with the place packed.

Came in for burgers, ended up really liking the cheesecake. That thing was proper good. Service was on point too, friendly but not hovering over you. Solid little neighborhood spot, nothing fancy but it does the job. Wouldn't mind going back for that dessert again.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and grabbed the self-service plate. Got the roast cod and some rice, pretty solid. Portions are decent for the price. Place was busy but moved fast. Nothing fancy but it does the job when you want something filling. Maybe not the best cod I've had but it was fine.

The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made our dining experience memorable. They even offered a complimentary cocktail upon arrival, which was a lovely touch.

Super cute restaurant and the food is amazing. We went for the T-bone and it didn’t disappoint. The t bone came with some side dishes that were also very tasteful. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Alcobaça.

I went there with my girlfriend on her birthday. It was a great choice, we had good moments together and we enjoyed a lot the restaurant. There are a lot of options in the menu and to go there just once is impossible. We ate a tomahawk it was delicious.

Wonderful place, very unique with great live music on Wednesdays and Fridays. Food home cooked and delicious and lovely atmosphere and friendly service.

That chicken dish though. Easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Simple seasoning, cooked just right, no fuss. Didn't need anything else on the plate. I'd come back just for that.

The grilled tuna was the reason I stayed. Cooked just right, flaky but still juicy. House wine was decent too, nothing fancy but it worked. Place has that worn-in local feel, no tourist fuss. Service was warm without hovering. Only thing, it got a bit noisy when the crowd came in. But I'd take that over some sterile spot any day.

We popped in a few times during our stay. The crepes and waffles were pretty good, staff handled the crowd well. Busy spot, but service stayed organized.

Hearty portions and the staff actually take time to explain the menu. Family-run spot with that real Portuguese home feel. Nothing fancy but solid.

Right across from the monastery, so you can't miss it. Had the pastel de nata and a cappuccino—pastel was genuinely one of the better ones I've had here. Coffee was solid too. Prices run a bit high, but for the quality, it's fair. Good stop if you're in the area.

The owner helped us pick our fish from the day's catch and it was grilled right at the table. So good. Wine pairing suggestions were on point too. Chill spot by the bay for sure.

Came here three times during our trip, that says a lot. The owner remembered us by the second day, which was sweet. Had the grilled sardines with peppers, super fresh and simple. Portions are decent, not huge, but the flavors are honest. Place gets busy around 8pm, so go a bit earlier if you want a quiet table.

This restaurant has a fantastic view of the sea, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner. The ambiance is lovely, and the food presentation is impressive.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Got the grilled octopus and it was cooked just right, tender but still had that char. Service was decent, nothing to complain about. Place gets busy around 8, so expect a bit of a wait if you come late. Solid spot if you're nearby and hungry.

The grilled meats here are really good — you can taste the wood fire in every bite. The family running it works hard, and they even drove us back to the hotel when we couldn't find a taxi. Solid spot.

Stopped by after the monastery visit — the butter chicken was rich, no complaints there. Wish I’d asked about a wine pairing though, a bold red would’ve nailed it. Service was quick.

We were three, shared a main, a drink and one big dessert. Came to about €30. Food was pretty good, nothing over the top, but decent. Honestly the bill surprised us. Place is fine for a casual meal. Maybe not a destination spot, but I wouldn't mind going back.

Simple canteen-style place, but the food's solid and service is quick. Portion size was decent for the price.

Came for the daily special and got the veal stew — super tender, lots of flavor. Place was packed but we still got our food fast, which was nice. Portions were generous too, definitely enough for sharing with a friend. Would come back if I’m in the area again 😊

Stopped by this little pastry place near the monastery and honestly the owner does everything herself. You can tell. The bread was still warm when I got there. Sweets are good too, not overly sugary. Just wish they had more seating, it’s basically grab-and-go. But for a quick coffee and something fresh, it works.
