The Coolangatta Hotel

A restaurant very close to the airport. The food is pretty good.

We both ordered the Weekender Steak (rump and topper) and the steak to be very tender and juicy. The topper prawns and sauce were lovely. Great experience. We will be returning!!!

I was there a little later in the evening, there was mainly Australian music playing in the background. Could easily have a conversation though. On arrival the waitress knew about my booking straight away & we chose our table. The bar was very close by & we started with a beer.We both ordered the rump steak special , medium rare. It didn't take too long at all to be bought to the table. It was sensational! Cooked perfectly with just the right of chips & salad on the plate too. Bummer I'm only here for a holiday!

We usually dine at the hotel whenever we're staying at Coolangatta. The meals are good value for money and has regular live entertainment. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you're looking to eat and chat, I'd probably choose a night without bands. The band was good, but very loud, so hard to talk and eat - unpleasant to the ears at times. Otherwise, highly recommend.

We enjoy coming here for dinner while on holidays. Service is prompt and polite. Lively atmosphere with the Sunday night band playing. The volume was a little loud for my liking but we enjoyed our meals!
