Small towns are different from big cities like Sydney. Once it gets dark, there is basically no one on the street, and all shops close at dusk. We followed the map all the way. The streets were dark and we were ready to go to McDonald&#39;s...

We walked along the street to the end and saw the sign &quot;Salt Dish&quot; hanging above. There was a light on. When we got closer, wow, it was full! You can feel the warm atmosphere in the house before you even enter the door.

The restaurant is not big. One third is divided into an open kitchen, one third is used for cashier at the front desk, and only one third is the customer dining area. However, the overall layout is orderly, the decoration in the store is very modern and simple, and the table layout and small candles are very warm~

The menu is very simple, divided into two parts: appetizers and staples. Appetizers are all salads, and staples basically contain meat. There are 5 dishes in each part. Order according to each person, one appetizer and one staple, and another drink.

Usually I would say it last, but this restaurant is here to express my love for it, I will summarize it in advance, it is really delicious and I give it a big thumbs up. We came here for two consecutive nights to find food and tried almost all the dishes (there were not many dishes to begin with).

One thing that is not good about the foreign menu is that they don&rsquo;t know how to summarize it highly, and they like to put all the ingredients in a row, which brings some troubles to the review, and I can only simply pick the main ingredients in it to replace it.

From the perspective of my sister, it is unexpected that beef can reach this level in such a second- and third-tier city. The beef is excellent in terms of meat quality and seasoning. The requirement is 5 minutes rare, and it is grilled just right. For someone like me who rarely eats raw food, although there are blood streaks, there is no discomfort at all when I put it in my mouth, and it is full of the fragrant beef flavor [strong]

I remember eating two plates of fish, one is an appetizer (salmon) and the other is a staple food (I don&rsquo;t know what fish it is). The salmon for the appetizer is grilled and buried under a pile of grass. I am used to eating grass and fish separately, without interfering with each other and affecting the deliciousness of the original fresh ingredients. I thought the fish as the main dish was grilled because there was a lot of oil at the bottom of the plate. But my sister told me that it was definitely steamed and the oil should be poured on later. After taking a bite, the meat was indeed very refreshing and not greasy.

Among the appetizers, the one that impressed me the most was summer. Not only is the dish as its name suggests, colorful and full of summer vitality, but the ingredients are also rich and diverse, from vegetables and fruits to meat, and served with nuts of different hardness and different jams. The dazzling combination combines a myriad of changes and layers, which made me fall in love with it at once

Squid rings are also appetizers, crispy, crunchy, and flexible, and chewy. The chicken is a bit New Orleans-style, very good, and the vegetables next to it are not seen before. My sister introduced it as a vegetable specialty of Australia, I forgot what it is called... There are also mashed potatoes, and the soup base is sour, which is very suitable for me.

Salt dishes are delicious, otherwise, we wouldn&#39;t have come to enjoy them two days in a row. Even if it&#39;s not in this small town, I believe it will be popular in big cities. Next time I come to Geraldton, I will definitely take advantage of the moonlight and have another meal here.
