Emerson’s Café & Restaurant

As always Emersons food was brilliant, and staff make it a most enjoyable experience. Us Queenslanders will be back whenever we can. It was great to see a beautiful family celebrating the grandmothers 80th birthday.

Our family had a fantastic night at Emerson’s, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The food was varied and exceptionally delicious (easily the best I have had in years), the setting (on a balcony overlooking green fields) lovely and the service team was outstanding. We will definitely return next time we are in the Hunter, if only it was closer to home!!.

Wonderful, quick lunch, with 3 superbly prepared sharing plates, which all tasted divine. Will definitely come back, when we have time to linger over a meal!

Very understated restaurant however the food was all really delicious and flavoursome. Octopus cooked with paprika and butter, Mushroom risotto and Mahi Mahi cooked in brown butter sultanas and topped with almond flakes were stand outs. We loved it and would recommend to our friends and family.

Service is the best I have had. The setting was amazing and the food was delicious, as was the wine. Can’t wait to go back.
