This internet-famous coffee shop only accepts reservations. When I passed by, it seemed to be full at any time. If you didn't make a reservation in advance, you would not be allowed in. After checking in, I don't quite understand why it is so popular. 🍃Environment: The industrial style environment of the old power station is transformed. There are actually many similar styles in Melbourne; 🍭Taste: It is not particularly better than other well-known coffee shops. The ricotta hotcake is beautiful and has its own characteristics. The Benedict eggs and avocado toast are just good. 💁‍♂️Service: Although it is full, the waiter's care is still acceptable. The serving speed is not fast, but everything comes up as soon as it is served. It happens to be sitting next to the open kitchen, and I don't feel the smoky smell mentioned by netizens. Just experience it.

Supposedly one of the trendiest places to be for brunch in Melbourne. The place is a sim with a chic decor with a refurbished power station as a backdrop. The food is not bad but it is slightly below expectations for me, given the raving reviews that everyone has been giving this place. The dark rye and chives waffle was the better dish among what we ordered. Chilli scrambled eggs had also a good kick to it with the spicy twist. Blueberry and ricotta hotcakes were not fluffy and soft enough but the taste of the toppings were good. Coffee was average for me. Try to go early or make reservations as the place filled up quickly given its popularity for a brunch spot for tourists or business people alike even for a weekday.

Higher Ground | The restaurant converted from an old power plant exudes refinement and comfort from the moment you enter the door. A brunch restaurant with great appearance and taste. No wonder there are so many people queuing at the door. We went there for half an hour to take pictures on the weekend. The dishes are very fashionable and have rich tastes. The dishes in the pictures above are all recommended by local gourmet friends. The Internet celebrity cake and kale are both must-orders!

Higher Ground just won the Best Interior Design and Best Boutique Coffee Shop in Melbourne this year. The industrial-style decoration, the fragrant coffee, the delicious desserts, everything is so perfect that it is worth a special visit.

This is a very popular shop. Basically, there is a queue every time I go there. The tall space and the full of green plants are definitely the highlights. The products have always been very stable, every dish is beautiful, and the coffee is also great. I often go there with my children for afternoon tea, coffee, fruit tea + ricotta houcake, which is very cost-effective!
