Palm Beach Hotel Bistro

Our evening was turned into a very enjoyable evening thanks to the very helpful lady at the bar taking our order. Our booking had us allocated an inside table in a very hot and noisy area and we asked if we could be moved. She found us a suitable outside table and helped carry our wine bucket and glasses outside to us, we had a really pleasant dinner and the food and wine didn't disappoint. A great evening once we were moved. Full credit to this lovely lady, we had a great evening on our first visit.

We did a on line booking and didn't no there was a huge function on and was booked out.The staff said we could still try get something but they were all ready under the pump.The staff is always good the service and food is always good.just the online bookings kneed to keep up-to-date when places are booked out or not.

Great pub food, but this new QR scan and pay method is a waste of time and annoying. We wasted 20 minutes of our luncheon, trying to work it out. Supplying personal details to a database, is an invasion of our privacy and rights. What if you only had cash ? Won't be rushing back.

Didn't have our table ready. Just told to sit anywhere. Tables had not been wiped cleaned, and floors dirty with food spilt. It was not busy only 1 other group there. Music was too loud. Obviously a new girl on at bar that couldn't work the register. Food was good but took a long time.

As always our entree and mains were good and well presented. The atmosphere and noise in the restaurant was not good on this night. There was a party going on around the bar area when we arrived at 5.30 pm which was very noisy and loud music was playing that you couldn't hear anyone speak. Trying to get served at the bar was a nightmare as the party guests were all crowded around it. I feel that this party should of been held away from the restaurant part of the hotel. However we will be back again as it's a great place for a good pub meal.
