The food was good, offering a solid price-to-quality ratio. However, the service was somewhat hindered by understaffing, despite the staff&#39;s friendliness. The ambiance was pleasant, featuring a few charming traditional and antique details. That said, the room temperature was too low to feel cozy, even with the sight of the burning open fireplace. To return,  on a warmer non rainy day!

The seafood rice was really good, clams were fresh too. Mr. Carlos took care of us, super friendly guy, made the whole thing easy. Place was busy but we never felt rushed. Just wish the tables were a bit more spaced out, felt a little tight. Still, solid spot if you want fresh seafood without the fuss.

Honestly, the meat here was some of the tastiest I&rsquo;ve had in a long time. We just ordered a few things to share and everything came out properly seasoned. Service was spot on too, never had to wait long for anything. Place was busy but we still felt looked after. Would come back just for that grilled chorizo again.

The egg rolls were actually pretty good. Crispy, not greasy. I had the sweet and sour pork too, sauce was balanced, not too sugary. For a small town, this place is surprisingly authentic. I&#39;d go back if I&#39;m craving Chinese again. Maybe just wish they had a few more veggie options on the menu.

My partner and I went for an early valentine&#39;s dinner, The waiter translated the menu to me and gave recommendations of the best dishes, this is the second time we have been here and can&#39;t fault it at all. Will be returning.

The bitoque here was solid&mdash;cooked right, plenty of garlicky sauce. Portions are generous, no doubt. Place was packed with locals, which says something. Took a bit to get a table, but the wait wasn&#39;t painful. Finished with their dessert, a nice sweet end. A glass of red would&#39;ve paired well with the steak, honestly.

Came here on a quiet weekday night. Place looks really nice inside, not gonna lie. I had the grilled octopus and it was cooked just right. Service was polite, nothing to complain about. The bacalhau here is the real deal, best I&#39;ve had in a long time. Portions are big for what you pay. Just wish they had more seating, gets a bit tight.

We&#39;ve been eating here for 20 years, no joke. The food is proper homemade, vegetables straight from the garden. Portions are generous for what you pay, we always leave stuffed. Service is friendly, like family. It&#39;s not fancy but you don&#39;t come here for that. Just good honest food at a fair price. That&#39;s why we keep coming back.

Lunch specials are cheap and the food&#39;s decent. Had the traditional plate, no complaints for the price. Solid spot if you&#39;re in the area.

The food is good and the view is awesome. The lack of entree options outside of a pork dish is the only reason I&rsquo;m probably not over the moon about this place.

A very pleasant restaurant with great local dishes, excellent local wine and great service.  We really enjoyed our dinner there.

Solid cuttlefish with clams. Proper Alentejo food, no fuss. Staff were sound. Bill was fair for what you got. Wouldn&#39;t mind going back.
