The owner actually remembers regulars—that alone keeps me coming back. Food's simple home-style, prices fair. Nothing fancy, but it works.

We came twice in one week, that says enough. The lamb kleftiko was the kind of thing you think about the next day. Mushroom risotto too, creamy without being heavy. Staff actually remembered us, which never happens. Prices felt fair, way better than the tourist spots closer to the water. Just a bit slow between courses, but I didn't really mind.

Two sunbeds and an umbrella for 8 euros is a solid deal. The moussaka was really tasty too. Good spot if you're hanging out with friends for the day.

The glass terrace view at sunset is stunning. Moussaka was the standout dish, really well done. Lia took good care of us without hovering. Free desserts felt like a sweet bonus. Just wish the kitchen had been a bit faster between courses.

The vegetarian moussaka was the best thing I ate all week. Kalitsounia were pretty solid too. Place feels properly traditional, service was on point. Just wish I'd found it earlier.

The village vegetarian pizza came stacked with toppings, base soft and baked just right. You can tell they actually care about what they're serving. Real family place, the kind you don't find too often anymore.

Stopped by a few times while in the area—never left unhappy. The lamb chops were spot on, and they poured a decent glass of red to go with it. Service was friendly enough, though it did get a bit busy later on.

Came in on a quiet Wednesday for lunch. The fish was cooked just right, flaky and fresh. Portion size felt honest for the price. Service was friendly without hovering. Left feeling satisfied, not stuffed. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The octopus carpaccio was the highlight—fresh, tender, properly seasoned. Grilled octopus also solid, no rubbery texture. Service efficient, didn't have to chase anyone for refills. Place was busy but we got seated right away. Price fair for the quality. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Solid food, big portions, fair prices. Right on the beach, tucked away from the main road so it's not packed with tourists. Good wine list too. Probably the best spot around here. Service was a bit slow but whatever.

Nice vibe in here — not too loud, you can actually talk. Staff let you be but were there when I needed them. Solid spot for a quiet drink in Agia Marina.

Lunch seafood salad was fresh and well-seasoned. Mains around 10-15 euros, fair for the quality. Service was quick too. Solid choice if you're in the area.

The veggie pita was fresh, really tasty. Came back a second time during our stay, that says something. Staff were welcoming, service quick. Only thing—I wished they had a better wine list to go with the meal. A cold beer worked fine, but a nice Greek white would've made it even better.

Came for dinner and ended up staying way longer than planned. The grilled fish was spot on — crispy skin, juicy inside. Right on the beach, so you get that nice breeze while you eat. Staff were friendly without hovering. Pasta was decent too, nothing crazy but solid. Maybe slightly pricier than the average spot around here, but the setting makes up for it.

The owner’s a real character, made us feel right at home. Grilled sea bass was spot on, and that pistachio cheesecake? So good. Place has a nice, relaxed buzz to it.

Beautiful mountain view while eating. Traditional food, pretty tasty. Staff friendly too. They even gave us fresh oranges on the way out. Nice touch.

Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The lamb was tender, just like my yiayia makes it. Prices are honest for what you get. The only thing - gets a bit loud when it fills up. Still our go-to spot.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the Cretan salad plus grilled bifteki. Portions were seriously generous for the price. House wine surprised me too—nothing fancy but totally drinkable. Place was busy but I got a table fast. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The daily special—fish and potatoes—was honestly the highlight of my whole trip. Six weeks in Greece and that simple plate still stands out. We went with a couple of friends, grabbed a table outside, and just chilled for hours. Bread and bean soup on the side were solid too. Nothing fancy, but sometimes that's all you need. 😊

Quiet little place, food was solid. Got fresh juices too, they let us swap stuff out which was nice. The guy working there was chill, made sure we liked everything. Even threw in some sweets on the house. Good spot if you want a calm meal.

Came here with a couple of friends last week and honestly the cocktails were the highlight 🍸 Tried their signature one and it was super well balanced. Prices are a bit steep for the neighborhood, but you're paying for the vibe and the quality. Staff were friendly too. Would come back for a drink, maybe not for a full meal though.

The seafood platter for two was honestly a feast. Six kinds of fish with that lemon-olive oil dip, plus a Greek salad and crispy potatoes on the side. We could barely finish it. The fish was fresh, the potatoes were properly crunchy. Just wish the dip had a bit more kick, but that's me being picky.

The pizza dough was thin and properly baked in their stone oven. Sat under the trees with quiet music playing, made for a calm lunch stop.

The terrace view really is lovely, and the setting feels quite romantic. We kept it simple and ordered a few things off the short menu—everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Staff were friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Wine list is a bit limited, but the local beer worked fine as a backup. Would sit outside again.

Great spot to base yourself for exploring the coast. The village feels genuinely local, not too touristy. Really liked the authentic vibe here.

The beef fillet was cooked really well and the tartare stood out too. Just note they charge around €3 per person for bread and olives, which caught me off guard. Staka potatoes were saltier than I'd like, but the space itself felt comfortable enough to stay a while.

Stopped here after a long drive through the mountains. The setting is what got me—quiet, green, nothing but nature around. Food was fresh and clearly local. I had the lamb, it was tender and full of flavor. Service was fine, nothing fancy, but the whole vibe made up for it. Would come back if I'm ever on this side of Crete again.

Took the family here and honestly the menu is huge, so everyone found something they liked. We stayed way longer than planned just chatting, no one rushed us. My only tiny complaint is the service was a bit slow at first, but once we ordered it was fine. Good spot if you want a chill meal with people you actually like. 😊

The Greek salad and tzatziki were really good, and portions are big. It's right by the road so a bit noisy, but the food makes up for it.

Came here for a birthday and honestly the lobster risotto was the star. Creamy, rich, and the lobster was cooked just right. They even brought out a little cake with gold leaf on top — looked almost too pretty to eat. Service was friendly but it did get a bit busy later in the evening. Would come back for that risotto again.
