Taking my kids to the Zhongnan Resort Hotel and East African Savannah Hotel this summer was a truly amazing experience! I got to experience the park's self-drive tour, animal encounters, and delicious food all at my leisure. Every day was so exciting I didn't want to leave. First, let's talk about the most surprising self-drive tour! The hotel is so large it feels like a small nature reserve, and driving slowly is incredibly comfortable. - The winding mountain roads are a blast, the roads are good and safe, and the occasional bumpy acceleration brings a little jolt. My child in the backseat laughed so hard she clapped her hands on her thighs. Best of all, there were so few cars, so we could stop whenever we wanted, never rushing. - The scenery outside the window changes constantly: the wind on the grasslands, the mountain spring, a small waterfall hidden in the woods, and even the summer-only lotus pond, with pink and white petals swaying among the green leaves. Just getting out of the car and snapping a couple of pictures is a wallpaper-worthy experience. - Hidden along the road are animated dinosaur and giant snake models, so realistic that my child would cover their mouths with their hands, only to excitedly shout, "It's moving!" the next moment. When feeding the kangaroos, cattle, and sheep in the animal park, the carrots I'd prepared became a social media tool, with my little one clinging to the car window, reluctant to leave. You can also visit other animals while staying here! The Tiger Hotel next door is within walking distance. Tiger Mountain boasts a famous scene featuring tigers and ducks – a tiger napping on a rock while a flock of ducks paddling in the water nearby. This adorable contrast captivated the kids. The Lion Hotel is even more captivating. Hidden within the savannah-style architecture are a variety of lions: some basking in the sun, their manes twitching, while others stroll across their territories. Watching their majesty from a safe distance is 100 times more thrilling than a documentary! Back at the East African Savannah Hotel, the Monkey Mountain and Crocodile Pool are must-sees! The clever monkeys hopped and made faces on the rockery, while the massive crocodiles in the pool occasionally splashed their tails. It was thrilling and exciting, and the kids were wide-eyed the entire time. Best of all, there's no need to worry about food! The hotel grounds offer very affordable dining options. When you're tired, find a restaurant to sit down at. They offer both home-style dishes and specialty dishes, all perfectly suited to your child's taste. For a change of pace, the nearby farmhouse is just a few minutes' drive away. Freshly picked vegetables and tender, home-cooked chicken soup are super affordable and safe for the kids.
