The design concept of Chuan Shuo Dongting is based on the Three Xiangs and Four Waters. The three main beams in the center of the hall represent the Three Xiangs (Xiaoxiang, Zhengxiang, and Yuanxiang), and the four ripples on the entrance wall of the banquet hall represent the Four Waters of Xiang, Zi, Yuan, and Li. Entering the private room area, Star City and Lotus City are synonymous with culture. The entire restaurant is built by the water, surrounded by mist, and ancient boats. The four waters and one lake fully reflect the characteristics of Hunan culture. The theme of the banquet is "Nanmeng Fish Banquet". In ancient times, the area north of the Yangtze River was a swamp, and the area south of the Yangtze River was called Nanmeng. Later generations called "Nanmeng" Dongting Lake. The residents by the lake are good at cooking fish and fresh fish, and they have a collection of river and lake fresh fish. The original juice and soup are good in color and shape. They have both the light and tender southern flavor and the fresh and spicy northern flavor, which is suitable for both young and old. Nanmeng Fish Banquet is inherited and innovated from this. This time, it happened to be a friend's birthday, so I chose a place with a nice ambiance, and it turned out great. It's perfect for dates and banquets, and the atmosphere is great. The small boat outside might be a bit hot and mosquito-inducing in the summer, but it was very comfortable after the cool rain. It's also easy to take photos with my girlfriends. We decided to go there on a whim, but we couldn't get a private room. Anyone who wants to go should definitely book in advance.
