Sunjia Noodle House (xiaokangchengzongbu)

It turns out that the noodle shops here are closed in the afternoon 😂 I wasn’t very hungry at noon and thought it would be great to go out and have a bowl of noodles after playing mahjong! I didn’t expect that the noodle shops here were closed. I searched for noodle shops nearby and saw this shop was open, so I went to eat (I didn’t expect that I stumbled upon a famous old shop!) The noodles here are a little soft, but the toppings are still so delicious!

Finally I had the soft-serve fish noodles that I've been raving about. I went there after lunch time, but the business was still very good. The decoration is simple, the eel is tender and has no fishy smell, the soup and side dishes are also good, and of course the price is not cheap. The service is average.

Although it is a noodle shop, it looks very high-end from the outside, not like a noodle shop but more like a restaurant! Walking into the shop, the Chinese-style decoration is simple and elegant, and the dining environment is very comfortable. I ordered the most famous Huai'an soft pocket, small fish, sweet and sour lotus root with a vegetable and noodles. The soft pocket is very good and clean, without any bones. The small fish tastes very delicious. I especially recommend the noodles. There are dozens of flavors, there is always one that suits you! It's worth a try!
