It's no exaggeration to say this was the best Thai food I've had in Mengzi since leaving Laos and Thailand in Southeast Asia. It might even be the most appetizing Thai meal I had during my May Day road trip to Honghe. It's not very large, with two floors. The first floor has small tables, perfect for 2-6 people for a la carte dining. The second floor has private rooms. Across the street is an esports and film-themed hotel. Perhaps because we arrived early, the restaurant wasn't busy yet. We ordered the "Searching for Nanyang" set meal for two. Sharing delicious flavors: the steaming hot Thai lemongrass pork chop was juicy, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The flavor was excellent. The golden Thai pineapple fried rice was generous, with just the right amount of firmness. Mango sticky rice with coconut milk is my wife's favorite. It's also one of the dishes I often ordered while working in Laos and Thailand. The Thai honey chicken feet were a little tough. Although I loved it, I loved it so much that I left the whole plate for her. Hehehe. I wonder if every woman is a chicken feet enthusiast. My wife ate it all. We were on a clean plate campaign.
