Paired with the special dipping sauce, every bite is an extreme tease for the taste buds. Both are authentic delicacies that cannot be missed in Bisezhai.

Bisezhai has become a popular check-in spot because of Feng Xiaogang's movie "Youth". Now the scenic area is developing tourism. There are souvenir shops where you can buy goods, and you can also rent costumes and take photos at Bise Impression.

The Bise Impression Restaurant is inside the Bisezhai Railway Station in Mengzi. Bisezhai Station is the filming location of Youth. Mengzi is the birthplace of Yunnan cross-bridge rice noodles. The rice noodles here are good, 10 yuan for a big bowl, and there is also braised tofu.

It was quite novel to see the locals sitting together eating roasted potatoes and roasted tofu. They would eat one and take a grain of corn. Finally, the waiter would check the amount of corn and pay. It also showed the simple local customs.

📍 Bisezhai, formerly known as "Bishizhai", is located 10 kilometers north of Mengzi City. It is a railway station, a village, and a place that witnesses the glorious years. It is a national 4A scenic spot and a national key cultural relic protection unit. 📍 The Yunnan-Vietnam Railway was known as the "three major engineering miracles in the world" at that time. It was opened to Bisezhai. It can reach Kunming in the north and Vietnam in the south. It is the largest station in the Yunnan section of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway, and a transit station and trade center for Yunnan's import and export trade. 📍 There is no ticket, but you cannot drive into the village by car. Usually you take a scenic shuttle bus up the mountain to the scenic spot. If you like to take retro photos, you can change into various costumes to take pictures and experience the feeling of making a movie; if you like to see history, you can go to find the former glory of Bisezhai: French clocks made in Paris can be seen on both sides, the mark of the world's first Tropic of Cancer coordinate point, the fire hydrant of the "Centennial Water Tower", the century-old red clay tennis court and other French buildings.
