1907 Guang Ying Club

This was the German Sailors Club and the first cinema in the country. It was also a place for eating and drinking during the club period, but now it has been transformed into a Western restaurant, mainly serving German-style Western food.

The Light and Shadow Club was formerly the German Sailors Club, and was rebuilt on this basis. It is said to be the earliest existing cinema in China. It is very large inside, and you can watch movies in a private theater and there is also a performance venue. I came here mainly to eat, and was attracted by the flower gallery that was flooded in the circle of friends! It is very nice to take pictures everywhere. The dishes are mainly Western food. The sauerkraut underneath is not too greasy. I ordered two kinds of soups, and I personally prefer cream mushroom soup. Florence fresh fruit and vegetable salad is more refreshing! 1907 Light and Shadow Club, a place where humanities, food, and film sentiments converge. The environment is beyond words, it is a film museum in itself, and the menu is very beautiful. The free appetizer bread contains large cranberries and nuts, which is nutritious and delicious. The main course is beef sauce pasta, which is rich in flavor. The special German beef sausage is paired with mustard sauce and sauerkraut, which is full of flavor. It is delicious, inexpensive and very unique.

Except for the attic which has not been put into use yet, each floor has an exquisite design and is equipped with restaurants, film museums, movie theaters, cafes, snack rooms, peripheral product shops, etc. Judging from the hardware, it has the potential to become the first Michelin restaurant in Qingdao.

We went in to have a rest. The children liked the environment very much. The food was also OK. The decoration style was quite interesting. It was a traditional old-fashioned western restaurant. There were several Qingdao aunts taking pictures. It was quite nostalgic.

After traveling through a hundred years, we finally meet you. The Sailors Club was built in 1902 in the German neo-Renaissance style and is the earliest commercial cinema in China. This time, I enjoyed Western food and felt the most unique leisure time in the old house:)
