This restaurant, located in the MixC shopping mall in Qingdao, is the only one in mainland China; the other is in Hong Kong (as the waiter told me). The decor, from the floor tiles to the wall decorations to the chairs, is distinctly Vietnamese. We ordered three dishes and a drink for 166 yuan. We had the chicken satay skewers in a coconut curry flavor. The shrimp fried rice noodles were in a zhajiang, fish sauce, and lime flavor. The mixed vegetable casserole was savory and delicious, with plenty of fresh mushrooms. I highly recommend trying it.

Anan is a highly-rated Southeast Asian restaurant in the area. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a rich aroma of curry—it's incredibly fragrant and very appetizing. Definitely worth trying!
