That's a complete waste of your trip to western Sichuan! 🏔️ 🚗A 2-Day Self-Driving Seda Tour Guide: My personal experience! You need at least two days to visit the Buddhist Academy! Although you'll need to buy two tickets, it's definitely worth it! Accommodation outside is much better, and getting in and out is also very convenient. ✨Must-see spots at the Buddhist Academy: 🏯Mandala Viewing Deck Perfect photo spot! Snap a photo and it's a hit! 📸 📚Library (separate for men and women) Get off at the sixth stop, the Rural Credit Cooperative. I highly recommend the Lianzhou Library! Free one-hour lectures are offered daily at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM (you can also learn about the daily life of the Buddhist Academy). Highly recommended are the facilities on the third floor: 🍴1st Floor Canteen: Delicious, affordable and generous portions of vegetarian food 🍵2nd Floor Tea Room: A Buddhist-inspired afternoon tea experience ☕3rd Floor Dessert and Coffee: A high-altitude dining experience The architecture is stunning! It feels like stepping into Harry Potter's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.🏰 🙏 Sutra Hall Lecture Experience A breathtaking experience! The sight of hundreds of people chanting simultaneously is truly unforgettable. Separate sutra halls for men and women. Respect local customs and refrain from taking photos. I went in with the nun and felt the purest Buddhist atmosphere. 💡Practical Tips: 🎫Ticket Guide: - Jinma Line online tickets are easy to buy, so book more on the day. - Luoruo Line tickets depend on your luck. - If you don't have a ticket, try the "leisurely journey" monk-style route (tested and effective!) 💰Deposit Information: Refundable if you're late! I've tried entering as early as possible and leaving as late as 8:00 PM, and it's always OK. Don't ask in advance; if you do, they'll say no. You can also cancel the next day (but I haven't tried this). You can ask someone else to cancel on your behalf! ⚠️Ignore the GPS beep; it won't affect your experience. 🌈Special Experience at the Sky Burial Platform: 📍Address: 5 kilometers outside of Seda County ⏰Opening Hours: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Although it's closed now, it's still worth sharing my experience: Booked the 12:00 PM bus up the mountain. Climbed 4,200 meters for 25 minutes and almost gave up. But the breathtaking sights after the weather cleared.
