The National Day holiday was incredibly crowded. It took over an hour just to queue to get into the mountain. We didn't get to the No. 4 viewing platform until after 10 PM. It was too late, so we didn't see the fog. Most importantly, the scenic area felt rather chaotic (that's what my friends all said). Queuing to enter and waiting for the shuttle bus took a long time. It was crowded, very sunny, and incredibly hot. The experience was rather poor. Vehicles were allowed in the Bailang scenic area, but we didn't go down. I slept the rest of the way in the car, haha. Also, I strongly advise against going to Hu Ji Old Fisherman's and Mingfang Private Kitchen restaurants. They were absolutely terrible!!!
