Xishengyuan Nanchan Temple Store is located on the right side of the Nanchan Temple archway. I saw that everyone in the group recommended Xishengyuan's Wuxi Xiaolongbao, so I came here to check it out~~ "Wuxi Xiaolongbao" is quite big, 10 yuan for 4, not cheap. The skin is not thick, the filling is not sweet, the meat is good, but I feel it is not as delicious as Zhidatong in Wujiaochang (-_-) It's a pity that Zhidatong is closed (T ^ T) "Shepherd's Purse Wonton" The proportion of shepherd's purse is too high (T ^ T) and there are two ways to make wontons, one is authentic and the other is a mess, but fortunately the soup is quite fresh. You have to queue up to get the Xiaolongbao, so be careful.

Xishengyuan is a famous Wuxi snack shop. Their Wuxi Xiaolongbao and wontons are a must-try. Every time I go to Wuxi, no matter how busy I am, I have to go there to eat. Although many people say that Wuxi Xiaolongbao is too sweet, I just like it.

As soon as we got off the train, we took the subway to find some good food. Their soup dumplings and wontons are Wuxi's most famous. The place is small, but business is booming. There's a line, and you have to find a seat and get your own soup dumplings. The service is truly subpar. The wontons are a bit spicy with pepper, which my son doesn't like, but the sweet soup dumplings are his favorite. They're 2 yuan each, quite large, with plenty of meat and broth, and the wrappers are very thin. My child ate five in one sitting and was quite full. If it weren't so hot, we'd have packed a basket back to Shanghai.

I went there for breakfast, and the menu only listed one type of xiaolongbao (xiaolongbao) and three types of wontons. There wasn't much choice. The steamed buns were a bit pricey, but they were quite large. Best of all, they're freshly steamed! The wrapper is very thin, and the broth is sweet. Much better than the ones at Sanfengqiao! The spicy wontons in red soup have a sour and spicy broth, but it's not too overpowering. It was quite appetizing to eat in the morning. I loved it!

I'd had Shengyuan wontons before when I was in Wuxi, and I thought they were pretty good then. Xishengyuan is considered a Wuxi specialty. It's like not having been to Wuxi before. But I think they've regressed. Overall, he's become a bit picky. Things he used to find delicious aren't as good anymore, but he's changed.

I brought my family to Wuxi and specially came to eat at Xishengyuan, a century-old restaurant. There were quite a few people in the family who took a taxi. The restaurant is not big, but very clean. There are about ten tables arranged in an orderly manner. You order and pay the bill first. The dishes are relatively limited. Basically, there are soup dumplings and other dishes. There is basically nothing else. I think this is the case for old restaurants. My parents tried it but still couldn't get used to it. They think the food in the south is sweet.
