A trip to Yangshuo isn't complete without experiencing the Yulong River rafting! Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven, and Yangshuo's beauty surpasses even Guilin's. The mountains and rivers here are truly therapeutic. Drifting on a bamboo raft under the blue sky and white clouds—this is the perfect way to travel! 💯 Must-do activity 🏞: 📍Shuiedi Village · Yulong River Rafting Although it's rafting, you won't get wet at all. Relax on the bamboo raft and slowly admire the karst landscape on both banks. The water is so clear you can see the stones on the riverbed. We recommend going in the afternoon; the Yulong River at sunset is breathtaking! Address: No. 12-1, Shuiedi Village, Guangcheng Line (Shuiedi Rafting Pier) Opening Hours: 8:00-17:00 Ticket Price: 160 RMB/raft (2 people) After rafting, be sure to try the authentic Yangshuo cuisine at this farmhouse restaurant near the pier! Their beer fish and stuffed snails are absolutely amazing—the fish is tender, the broth is rich, and it's perfect with rice. The scallion omelet was surprisingly delicious, and the bamboo rice had a subtle bamboo aroma. A few tips: ✅ Bring sunscreen! There's absolutely no shade on the Yulong River; an hour's ride could leave you sunburned! ✅ Wear comfortable flip-flops for easy boarding and disembarking. ✅ Book your bamboo raft tickets well in advance during peak season; reservations can be made up to one day ahead. You'll regret coming to Yangshuo if you don't experience Yulong River rafting!
