This restaurant is said to be quite famous. When the weather is hot, Huaiyang cuisine is a good choice. I like to eat the squab the most. It is roasted just right, showing the skill. The price is also reasonable, about 100 yuan per person!

This is also one of my favorite restaurants. I like it very much. The environment in the restaurant is very good, with an antique feel. The chef is very skilled, and every dish is delicious. There are almost no disappointments, so you can rest assured.

After leaving He Garden, I went to the famous Yangzhou restaurant across the street and had two super famous Huaiyang dishes, which are also the signature dishes on their menu. The delicious lion head only cost 40 yuan, which is a conscience. I don't know how Yechun has the courage to sell Yangzhou fried rice for 48 yuan, after all, Zhongshunhe represents the standard.

After resting in the hotel for a while, I chose a moderately priced Huaiyang restaurant on Meituan - Zhongshunhe Huaiyang Restaurant, which is just opposite Heyuan. The two of us ordered four dishes: Wensi Tofu Soup, Lion's Head, Stinky Tofu and Pork Intestine, and Chinese Yam and Black Fungus. The total cost was 82 yuan, which is good value for money. I especially recommend the Wensi Tofu Soup, which has exquisite knife skills and excellent taste. I don't recommend the Lion's Head here, which is a bit sour and I don't like it very much. But in the end, the two of us ate all the dishes, perhaps because we were too hungry after a tiring day.

Opposite the main entrance of He Garden, a famous scenic spot in Yangzhou, the Huaiyang restaurant on the street is very famous locally. The preserved vegetable lion head, stinky tofu and pork intestines, and General Crossing the Bridge (sweet and sour flavor) are all good. Two braised puffer fish cost 120 yuan, which is delicious and cheap. It is a very affordable restaurant. Our meal at Dongguan Street cost 970 yuan, but here it is even more sumptuous at 410 yuan. Highly recommended.

I ordered soft pocket, jellyfish, and dried shredded pork. As a northerner, I was amazed by the large amount of dishes served. It was really substantial. This time in Yangzhou, the experience was that both the dishes and the staple food were very large. There were a lot of eels in the soft pocket, and they were very fresh and delicious. The jellyfish was not the transparent skin of northern dishes, but white with spots. I don't know what kind of fish it was. It tasted crispier and chewier, and the soup was sweet and sour. It was delicious when mixed with rice alone. I didn't order the traditional large boiled dried shredded pork for dried shredded pork, but the 10 yuan one. But when it came, it was no different from the normal amount of dishes. It was very satisfying. The taste was also suitable for northern tastes, and the soy sauce was very fresh. In short, this meal was very successful, and I will come back to try other dishes if I have the chance.
