Although the location of Little Red Whale Hotel is a bit remote, good wine needs no bush, and many diners still come here. There are two reasons: first, the ingredients are fresh, especially seafood, and second, the taste is good and the price is affordable. In the whole Laishan, the reputation is ranked very high. You must try the cuttlefish dumplings. If you go late, you will need to wait for a seat.

Located on Zhenda Road, although the location is a bit remote, the business is very prosperous. The hall is large and there are many seats, but you still have to wait for a table. The main dish is seafood, the portions are large, and it is quite affordable. Cuttlefish dumplings are a specialty, with black dumpling skin and white filling, which are very delicious. Cucumber mixed with scallops is also a specialty, delicious and not expensive.

Little Red Whale is said to be the No. 1 seafood restaurant in Laishan District. It is less than one kilometer away from where we live, so of course we have to go here to try it. This restaurant is not easy to find. There is a green construction site fence outside. I walked around a long way before I found the restaurant. To be honest, the decoration of the restaurant is very ordinary. It feels like an ordinary home-style restaurant. It must be so famous because it tastes so good. We ordered six dishes with two adults and one child. Before coming to Yantai, I saw on the Internet that sea cucumber is a specialty of Yantai, so of course I can't miss it. I have never eaten starfish before, so I ordered it! I also ordered scallion-fried sea cucumber, octopus, sea urchin steamed egg and a vegetarian dish, and finally ordered a big steamed bun that is almost as big as my face. I have to say that the people of Yantai are really honest. The dishes are enough and the ingredients are all real. Sea cucumber is indeed a good thing, but we southerners have never eaten it, so we are really unfortunate. We only dared to eat a few, which was wasted. Still waiting, the taste is very mellow, much fresher than what I ate in Sanya. The seafood tasted a bit strange, and I didn't think it was very tasty. Shandong cuisine uses more sauces to cook, and the sauce is rich. This meal cost less than 500 yuan, and the portion was so large that more than half was left, so we only dared to order three or four dishes for each meal later.

For someone like me who is not very sensitive to seafood, this meal is a waste for me. My husband and his friends are enjoying the meal, but why can't I eat more? I can still enjoy the jellyfish head, but the vegetarian dishes all taste like seafood.
