This was definitely the best restaurant I had on my first trip to Zigong! During a previous holiday trip, the old restaurant wouldn't take reservations. Upon arrival, we realized it wasn't entirely because they were full (after all, we arrived at 5 PM), but rather because they have large tables, which are often overcrowded during the holidays. Since we were just two people, we had to share a table... Thanks to two couples arriving later, we, who arrived earlier, finally got a table (those who arrived later than us were already seated first due to the large crowd). So, I understand, it was quite speechless. I have to say, the waiter's attitude when we were taking our order was quite good. While not overly enthusiastic, they were polite and tried to explain and cover up the situation. Since we were eating, we didn't say anything more. Since there were only two of us, although we wanted to try more dishes, we didn't know the portion sizes, so we ordered four. My favorite is the crispy pig intestines, which is what some restaurants call crispy pig intestines. The skin is crispy, the inside is soft, and it's delicious. It's just too greasy if you eat too much. It's absolutely delicious with chili flakes! Highly recommended! The stir-fried pig intestines are my husband's favorite. They're perfectly prepared, the sausage is stir-fried 🉐 very dry, and the crispy 🥘 flavor is rich and spicy, making it perfect with rice. The hot-fried pig throat has the same flavor as the hot-fried double-crisp, but it's actually pickled pepper-flavored and also goes really well with rice. I didn't get to try the hot-fried kidney because they were sold out, but if I had tried them, I think it would still be good. The only thing I really don't recommend is the drink with tiny beads in the glass bottle. It's very sweet and has a saccharin-like taste. Since we didn't eat rice 🍚, the portion was just right.
