Cycling around the lake is super comfortable 🚴‍♀️ 📍Dongping Hotel (Bailang Branch) Address: Bailang Wharf Square Check in for a delicious fish feast 🐟 paired with a stunning lake view! Take a 2-hour electric scooter ride to enjoy the lakeside scenery (30 yuan/bike/hour, 60 yuan/bike/unlimited time) ⚠️Be careful with sunscreen; you'll get sunburned if you don't. 🏨Dongjiang Lake Ergeng Stay B&B Address: Huxiang Dongjiangwan, Yanjiang Road, Dongjiang Subdistrict Stunning river view B&B 🌊Rooms with projectors and smart appliances Large hot spring pool 💕 Since the hotel is right next to Dongjiang Lake, we didn't go to the foggy Xiaodongjiang River. 📍Xiaoziwei (Wangjiang Road Branch) The Dongjiang salmon tastes quite different from your average salmon; it's crispy and has a textured texture. ✨Day 3: Spectacular Danxia Landform Tour 📍Feitian Mountain Scenic Area The Danxia landforms are truly spectacular!⛰️ You can even take a raft to admire the waterway and mountain scenery. Depart to Yangtian Lake for overnight stays and prepare for the next day's grassland tour. 🏕️Accommodation: Yaoshanli B&B at Yangtian Lake Booked a mountain view room so we could see the sunrise the next day🌅 There's a grassland campground next to the B&B. We stumbled upon a bonfire, fireworks, and a grassland karaoke bar at 8 PM. Staying up in the mountains, you can see a sky full of stars⭐, saving you the discomfort of the winding mountain road the next day. ✨Day 4: Grassland Fun Day 📍Yangtian Lake Grassland Same grassland as in Hayao Miyazaki's animations🌿 The newly renovated Hobbit cabin is beyond awesome! We had some grass skiing and fed the animals. The weather was perfect, with temperatures between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius on the grassland, making it the perfect spot for a trip these days. 💡Tips 1️⃣ We recommend renting an electric scooter for the Bailang Scenic Area tour around the lake, but the UV rays are strong, so remember to wear sunscreen! 2️⃣ Yuhou Street is best visited in the evening, when the lights are on and the scenery is stunning. 3️⃣ Yangtian Lake is a great place to stay the night before. 🏷️Must-See List ✓ Stay at a B&B on the second day of Dongjiang Lake ✓ Cycling the Bailang Plank Road ✓ Danxia Landforms at Feitian Mountain ✓ The Hobbit Hut at Yangtian Lake ✓ Distances between attractions are long, so a self-drive tour is recommended. 🥸For breakfast, try fish meal and pig-killing rice noodles.
