The taste of the food was incredible&mdash;unimaginable flavors. The service was superb.In our next trip, we are going to return to this magnificent restaurant.

L&#39;Aromate is a gem of a spot, and our visit there was the dining highlight of  our stay in Caen. We will  of course remember the delicious fare, exquisitely conceived and presented. Our server, Paul was a delight--warm and so accommodating--and the lovely ambience afforded us the quiet calm we were seeking. Lovely wine offerings. Affordable, approachable elegance.

It was a restaurant where everything was ok but nothing was above the ordinary. Would I go again? probably not. I would look for somewhere a bit more interesting.

The restaurant is 2-minute walk from the Castle: excellent location. The food was of high quality and service was OK. Overall good value for money and I strongly recommend it!

I don&rsquo;t usually write reviews, but this place  was fabulous!  Don&rsquo;t be fooled by it&rsquo;s quiet(er) location, away from the bustling areas around the castle, b/c this is an excellent restaurant.  We had 3 delicious galletes for dinner, then shared a crepe for dessert, one better than the next.  Thank you for such a memorable meal!

This restaurant is absoluately a must try when you are coming to Caen for sure. The discount is great price which comes with good taste.

Our group of 16, with half of us being children, was warmly welcomed by the owner, who showed great patience and attentiveness in taking care of us. The food was absolutely delicious&mdash;truly stunning. Every dish, from appetizers to mains and desserts, was simply perfect! This restaurant gave us a wonderful evening and left a lasting impression.
