Service and quality of food excellent.  An experienced chef leading a team seemingly without effort.  No showy display just seriously good food tasting of its ingredients and perfectly balanced.

The team here are so friendly and chatty, really makes for a lovely atmosphere. They stayed open late on a holiday for us, which was a nice touch. It&#39;s just a very comfortable place to have a meal.

Booked for a quiet Sunday dinner. The roast beef was well-done but still surprisingly tender, with a generous portion of veg. The rich gravy was perfect for a robust red wine. Solid value for the price.

The vintage jukebox is so cool! It actually takes old 50p coins and plays 80s hits. Gave it a go while waiting for our mains, felt like a fun little time capsule.
