The grilled fish here was properly done — crispy skin, juicy inside. Paid way less than I would've on the coast, which honestly surprised me. Local wine paired nicely too. Place was quiet when I visited, just a few tables. Not fancy at all, but it felt right.

Reasonable prices and the portions were solid for what you pay. Tap beer was fresh too. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a quick bite.

The grilled trout was fresh, flaky, came off the bone clean. Lemon and herbs did their job, nothing overdone. Ate outside, river noise in the background. Price was decent for the portion. Maybe not a destination spot, but I'd order that fish again.

Stopped here on the way through Vrbovsko and honestly the cheeseburger hit the spot. Juicy, decent size, not one of those sad highway patties. Service was quick too, which I appreciated since I didn't want to wait around forever. Place is easy to miss but worth pulling off for. Maybe not a destination, but a solid pit stop.

Stumbled in here on our last night and finally got the beef soup I'd been craving. Lamb was solid too. Wine pairing advice actually helped instead of the usual vague stuff.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Risotto frutti di mare was solid, squid cooked right. Portions fair for the price. Service was a bit slow, but they sent out a free appetizer while we waited. That made up for it. Good spot if you're in the area and not in a rush.

The Sunday buffet had plenty of gluten-free choices, which I appreciated. Quality was better than I expected for the price.

Came for dinner and left properly full. Portions are generous, no doubt. I had a glass of their house red with the grilled fish, decent enough pairing for the price. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us. Menu's got a good range, even for vegetarians. Nothing fancy, just solid, honest food.

The river and waterfall view is really something — you can just sit there and take it in. Fish tasted properly fresh too. Simple meal, no fuss, and the swimming spot right there is a bonus.

The playground and animal sculptures kept the kids busy while we ate — food was solid, especially the fish. A bit pricey, but the setting made it worth it. 😊

The cevapcici with ajvar hit the spot—properly grilled, juicy, not dry at all. Shrimp were a nice surprise too. I had a glass of their house red, which paired better than expected with the smoky meat. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Service friendly enough, nothing fancy. Solid stop if you're craving Balkan classics.

Stopped here on our road trip and the staff spoke perfect English — made ordering so easy. Way better than the usual highway stops.

Lovely little courtyard hidden in the old town. Quiet spot to sit with a coffee and watch people pass by. Plants everywhere make it feel really chill.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed their set menu. Mushroom soup was the highlight, really rich. Meat was tender too, no complaints there. Dessert wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. They've got a decent wine list by the glass, went with a red that paired nicely with the main. Service was friendly enough. Place was a bit busy but fine.

The pizza was a solid surprise—thin crust, fresh toppings. Three sizes to pick from, which is handy. Just remember to ask them to cut it.

The portions here are seriously big—like, almost too big for me. I ended up leaving half my plate, which felt wasteful. Prices are low though, so I guess it balances out. The ingredients tasted fresh, especially the vegetables. I’d come back if I’m extra hungry.

The old town in Karlovac is a bit of a construction zone right now, but this spot felt like a proper escape from it. Pizzas were solid and the price was fair for what you got. Staff were friendly too. Just a chill place to sit down for a bit.
