The owner was friendly and the prices felt fair for what you get. Nice change from the usual spots around here. Portion size was decent too.

The veggie options here are actually decent, which surprised me. Service has stayed consistent across my visits. Place gets a bit tight, but I keep coming back for the food.

The herring rolls here are really good — fresh and not too fishy. Classic little fish shop with a solid selection. Prices felt fair for what you get. Worth stopping by if you're into smoked fish.

The free starter salad was a nice touch. Steak was juicy and well-seasoned, fries were good too. Gets busy though, so book ahead if you can.

The pizza here is solid. Crust has that nice crisp edge, toppings are generous, not skimpy at all. Thick but somehow not doughy in the middle. Probably the best slice I've found around this part of town. I'd go back just for that.

The food was decent, but honestly the seating situation threw me off. We sat near the window and the chairs felt a bit wobbly, not the most comfortable for a longer meal. Also, they don’t take international cards, so I had to run out and find an ATM. Just something to keep in mind if you’re not local.

The schnitzel was huge for the price, and the sweet potato fries hit the spot. Don't expect fancy decor, but you won't leave hungry.

Been coming here for a while now. The sausage is what keeps me coming back, honestly. Pizza's solid too, had it a few times. Chicken burger was meh last visit, but I didn't come for that anyway. Place still looks nice, staff knows what they're doing. Consistent, that's the main thing for me.

Nice spot, decent prices for what you get. Staff was friendly enough, though we waited a bit for the bill. Solid option if you're nearby and don't want to overthink it.

The burgers looked great when they arrived, fries were properly salted too. Sat near the window, chairs were actually comfortable enough to stay a while. Service was friendly without hovering. Just wish the place wasn't quite so loud, had to raise my voice a bit across the table. Still, decent spot for a casual bite.

Stopped by for dinner and ended up having a nice glass of local red with the schnitzel. That place has this proper 70s vibe, like nothing changed in decades. Food was fresh, not fancy, but really decent. Owner came by for a chat, which felt genuine. Just wish they had one more option for wine by the glass.

Solid spot in the old shipyard hall. Food was good, no complaints there. Service took a while though—place was packed. Guess that's expected. Worth stopping by if you're in the area and not in a rush.

Had our Christmas party here. Place was properly festive, lights and all. Food was solid, no complaints from anyone. Staff kept the drinks coming, which was nice. Maybe a bit packed but that's on us for booking late. Good spot for a group thing.

The lasagna was solid—classic, cheesy, the way it should be. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Looked around and everyone else’s plates seemed to hit the spot too. Place was busy but not chaotic. I’d go back if I’m in the mood for Italian again.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed a glass of their house red—decent pour, went well with the schnitzel. Barbara keeps things running smoothly, you can tell she’s got experience. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but comforting. Place was a bit warm inside, though. Still, I’d sit at the bar again for a drink and a bite.

Been coming here for a while now, and the meat still arrives at the table sizzling just like the first time. That sound alone gets me every visit. Service has stayed consistent too, which I appreciate. Only thing that catches people off guard is the cash-only policy, so come prepared. Not a big deal once you know.

The chicken was really fresh, not dry at all. You can tell they prepare everything when you order. Place was busy, so I waited a bit longer than I wanted. But the quality made up for it. I'd go back for that chicken again. 🍗

Large group dinner went smoothly, staff handled it well. All dishes arrived together. Pretty good.

The currywurst and fries are still my go-to here - they've kept their standard over the years. The burger, though, was a letdown: overcooked patties and a sad bun for the price.

The bruschetta really stood out—fresh, tangy, just right. Everything else on the plate was solid too. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. Place has a nice hum to it, not too loud. Left feeling properly fed and in a good mood. Maybe not a destination spot, but for a casual meal, it hits the spot.

The place was packed for a wedding reception, yet the staff kept up pretty well. Food took a while to come out, but the price felt fair for what you got. Kids menu was a nice touch.

The staff were so attentive—they even brought water and biscuits for our dog. Place is a bit rough around the edges, but that’s the charm. 🐾
