Restaurant Vatel Lyon

This place is always a place my husband and I take our out of town guests. The food is always so good and the service is the best in Lyon, thanks to the head waiter.

We decided to have dinner at this restaurant on a recommendation. We were impressed by the staff’s eagerness to please and to make our evening memorable. The presentation of each course was delightful and artistic. The meal itself was delicious. We would highly recommend.

We were delighted to discover this restaurant and fascinated at the way it works. From our arrival to our departure we were extremely well looked after. The combination of an experienced and welcoming manager and young, enthusiastic and well mannered staff was delightful and impressive. The service was of the highest standard and it was good to see the teamwork. The food and wine were excellent and the ambience comfortable and sophisticated at the same time. Given that the employees are “learning their trade” they all deserve to do well. A memorable evening for all the best reasons and one we would definitely wish to repeat.

A wonderful time at this hospitality school, with attentive and caring students. The dishes were refined and subtle. But what can I say about the dessert cart...a real treat!
