The food in this restaurant was excellent! The staff was warm and respectful. We had a sea bass with saut&eacute;ed vegetables and creme br&ucirc;l&eacute;e. Both top! Just the chairs were uncomfortable, their seats hollowed out with age.

What a wonderful bistro in old town Nice.   Food was excelllent, service exemplary and the ambience was perfect.   We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this special place.   Even the desserts were amazing.    Thank you for a memorable meal and experience.

Marcel is my favorite spot in Old Town Nice.  Great atmosphere on the small streets and a sampling of local cuisine at a good price.  Reservations are usually necessary but not hard to get.

Had a lovely lunch. There were a variety of options on offer. Well priced. Friendly staff. Good quality fresh food. Much better than the tourist traps around the flower market.

Lovely restaurant, the beef stew was delicious, as was the creme brulee (although take note, the desserts are big... we could have shared a dessert easily). Great wine too!Would definitely return.

The French are very particular about eating quickly. In such a small shop, the presentation of the dishes is very particular. The lamb leg is delicious, and when the desserts come, four kinds of desserts are lined up in a row, which looks very impressive.

A French restaurant in the old town, the food is good, the souffl&eacute; tastes great, the small portion is just right for one person, very soft in the mouth, and there is also seafood salad, authentic French style, with lots of prawns.

In the eyes of Europeans, the most famous Spanish dish is Spanish ham, so the French are particularly fond of Spanish ham. I ordered two kinds, paired with special sparkling water, which was great.

This restaurant has an English menu. The duck breast is well cooked and the main sauce tastes good. The rice is a little raw, but it will be more tender if eaten this way. The waiters in the restaurant speak good English too.

Everything was perfect from our arrival. Welcoming, polite staff, order taken shortly afterwards, excellent food quality - a truly enjoyable experience.  The menu choice is broad and appetizing.  The chicken with peppers was delicious - tender chicken served in a very hot bowl that kept the meal hot throughout. The polite waiter engaged in conversation without being intrusive. Family friendly restaurant, lovely ambience, gorgeous cuisine.
