We chose this place for a small birthday dinner for my girlfriend during our few days in Berlin. The outside is beautiful, simple but neat, with a medieval design (read the menu story of this place), not too many tables. The inside is beautiful, the ceiling is really beautiful. The food was good and plentiful, she had roasted meat with red cabbage, I had Berliner sausages, two different beers...which were very good beers...and apple pancakes with cream and ice cream...very good. A great dinner to celebrate this special day in Berlin!

Great atmosphere. We were planning to go there on Friday for my husband's birthday but it was fully booked. We wanted to go there especially because they have a good wine list with many German wines (they make their own). We were able to get in on a Thursday night though. It was a great experience with good service and friendly staff. The food was excellent, especially the white asparagus soup, sautéed liver and schnitzel. The portions are huge so if your appetite doesn't fit that, maybe miss the starters. Highly recommended
Zur Gerichtslaube, an old restaurant near the town hall, has dim lights, which makes you feel like you have returned to the glorious Austro-Hungarian Empire. The steaks are delicious.
Want to know how big, exaggerated, and delicious the burgers in Berlin are? Please come to this small shop. It is really small, and can't accommodate a few tables of people. The door is covered with various stickers, which is very unique and easy to recognize.
Berlin has survived, and now the Berlin Wall has fallen for more than 20 years. This is a new and great era. Berlin has been crowned with various honors as a creative capital, a holy place for artists from all over the world, a city of landscapes, a city of fashion, a city of design and a city of music. Of course, this city will present more to the world.
