Perfect romantic lunch before Christmas. We got married at this hotel in 2021. They have the top service and we&rsquo;ll be returning for lunch or dinner every year!

Located in the Schlosshotel Kronberg.The good food in an authentic historic Ambiente.The service was also good.Price was fine for the quality

Nice atmosphere in historical setting.  Adequate choice from the menu. Food quality was excellent - fresh, well spiced, tasty, very balanced.  Service was very attentive and prompt. Waiting times between courses were short.

We had a lovely meal here after getting married. The staff were friendly and attentive and made up a table for us inside, although they had set up all their tables outside. The food was delicious and we will definitely come again for our next special occasion.

Beautiful place with delicious food on a terrace overlooking the golf course. Served by fantastic staff who go the extra mile to make sure you are fully satisfied with your meal, highly recommend!

In September 1888, Queen Victoria bought a 100-acre plot of land in Kronberg and built a Victorian-style palace as her widow&#39;s residence. In memory of her husband, she called the residence Schloss Friedrichshof. After Queen Victoria died in 1901, the palace was passed on to her youngest daughter.
During World War II, the palace was used by the US military as troop housing and as the residence of General Eisenhower, the commander-in-chief of the US military. General Eisenhower and his entourage lived here for seven years, during which time he designed and converted the gardens around the palace into a
18-hole standard golf course, which is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Germany. A tourist wandered around, looking at the magnificent palace and the quiet and endless green space, and said, &quot;After seeing this golf course, I regretted for the rest of my life that I can&#39;t play golf!&quot;
General Eisenhower later became the 34th President of the United States.
Since 1954, the palace has been turned into a five-star hotel, one of the &quot;Small Luxury Hotels of the World&quot;. The hotel rooms are still furnished with original furniture and artworks from the royal collection, and there is also a well-preserved royal library in the hotel.
