A gem in Hobart This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you feel like you are part of the family. The food is amazing - close your eyes and you feel like you are on the coast of Crete. The owners Sava & Co have put together a fantastic menu and the food is fresh from start to finish. A must visit in Hobart.

Australian Travel Notes ~ Devils Kitchen♪ Devil's Kitchen♪ Located on the Tasman Peninsula in the southeast of Tasmania, it is about 80 kilometers away from the state capital Hobart. It is a free scenic spot. Devil's Kitchen is just a way to describe the uncanny workmanship of nature. It is a narrow bay that extends into the cliff. It was formed by the impact of sea wind and waves for tens of millions of years. The towering cliffs on the three sides of the bay are like knife-cut and axe-chopped, and the criss-crossing cliffs are just like knife marks on a chopping board.

There is a must-see attraction in Hobert, the capital of Tasmania, Australia, which is the Mona Art Museum. It can be said that Mona has made Australia no longer a desert of art and culture. If you come to Australia, it is highly recommended to go there. ➕ About Mona: MONA is the playground and megaphone of the rich man David Walsh, who grew up in Tassie, dropped out of college, played cards, won money, did some other things, and opened a small antiquities museum, but no one visited. However, he declared it a victory and decided to expand it. The result is today's Mona, a temple of secularism, rationalism, and talking about things you really don't know much about. Along the Derwent River, around the art exhibition underground museum and large outdoor art installations, there are live music, food, wine, bars, restaurants, wine cellars, hotels, libraries, recording studios and tennis courts. You can spend a whole day here and experience art and design everywhere. Mona was originally designed to be explored with O-as a space full of wonders and experiments. ➕Must-experience items in MONA Art Resort: Mona Art Museum is designed as a lower-level underground space. There are many large-scale art installations in the exhibition hall that are combined with architectural design. The whole experience is shocking and worth a visit. I call it the best art museum in Australia. 🕙Business hours: Mona Art Museum is open four days a week, from Friday to Monday, from 10 am to 5 pm. Reservations are required. 💰Mona Art Museum per capita consumption: Adult tickets are 38 Australian dollars, concession tickets are 32 Australian dollars, under 18 years old are 15 Australian dollars, and under 12 years old are free. 📝Note tips: You can book museum tickets for a certain time, or if you can't commit to a time, you can book a wildcard. The use of wildcards to enter the museum depends on the capacity limit of the number of people in the museum at that time. ➕Mona Art Museum Hotel Environment Introduction: We flew from Melbourne to Hobart and stayed at the Mona Art Museum Hotel for one night, because this way we can fully enjoy the various facilities in the park. We arranged a hotel pick-up to Mona. This time we stayed in the Charles room of the hotel, which was superior and comfortable. Because it was my birthday, the hotel prepared a large exquisite cake in the room. The room is equipped with a wine cabinet, which stores many selected wines of the hotel, but it is charged separately. This two-story two-bedroom pavilion (two king-size beds) is hung with original works by Brett Whiteley. The upper living room is connected to the large outdoor deck balcony. We were surprised to see the kangaroos in the woods on the balcony. The building is located in the Casuarina forest along the Derwent River. Roman mosaics, Costa Rican stone carvings and ancient coins complement modern furniture. The bedroom and living area are equipped with HD TVs. The granite spa overlooks the river. 💰Hotel room fee: Mona Art Museum hotel room fee: AUD 960/night Room fee includes: 🌟The Source Restaurant serves a full à la carte breakfast daily ⭐Priority access to the museum during your stay🌟Museum admission fee ⭐Moorilla Winery wine tasting 🌟Children are welcome ➕MONA Art Museum Dining Recommendation: Restaurant FARO 🍽️ This high-end restaurant in the art museum campus seems to be suspended on the river. Exquisite food is accompanied by live art and occasional music/performances/experiments. And the restaurant's architecture and interior design are a work of art. Between each course of our dinner, we were fortunate to experience three art installation spaces by the famous artist James Turrell: ⚡The first one: In a circular all-white space similar to space, lying on the bed, experience the mirror image that will appear after the strong flash stimulates our eyes. 📝Note tips: Patients with heart disease or epilepsy, please do not try. ⬛Second item: Walk into a room where you can't see your hand, and experience relying on your other senses to find the exit. ⚪Finally: A room with a white light design that seems to stretch infinitely and tilt. In short, the dinner dishes are rich and the oysters taste great. The art experience activity makes the whole dinner a more wonderful journey of taste, vision and touch. Dinner starts at 6pm and reservations are required. 💰 Average dinner consumption per person: 4-course set menu AUD 125/person 🚉 Transportation strategy: There are direct flights from Melbourne or Sydney, Australia to Hobart. After arriving at the airport, take a taxi or arrange a hotel pick-up to the Mona Art Museum. If you do not plan to stay in the hotel in the Mona Art Museum, but choose other accommodation in the city center, you can take the Mona special ferry from the center of Hobart for about 25 minutes or drive or take a taxi for about 20 minutes to reach the Mona Art Museum. 📍Detailed address: 655 Main Road, Berriedale TAS 7011 ✅#Tasmania #TasmaniaTravel #AustraliaTravel #Australia #AustraliaTasmania

High-end and elegant restaurant This restaurant is very conveniently located. It mainly serves steak, but the waiter introduced us to seafood that day. The portion is small for local Australian cuisine, but the food quality is very high and the seafood is very fresh! The wine menu is the thickest I have seen in Tasmania, which is very interesting.

Good breakfast in a great location Had breakfast here before heading to the famous Salamanca Markets. It's nearby. We arrived about 9.30 and there were plenty of tables available. The service we received was excellent and quick, so I'm not sure if they took the comments of other guests into account or if it was because there were fewer people than usual. The food was excellent and a good selection of menu items. We will definitely come back if we are in Hobart again.
