A lovely little restaurant at the bottom of our hotel....food fresh & tasty at a reasonable price, would definitely recommend

Just a basic restaurant for pizza, pasta. Good for families, they can choose all the toppings on a basic Margherita pizza. We walked from the village, but for the last 200m there's no sidewalk along the busy mainroad which was uncomfortable.

The food was delicious, especially the pizza! The service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended, and probably even more enjoyable in summer on the large terrace overlooking Lake Garda.

We've been spending about a week's vacation in Malcesine every summer for a few years now, and Da Gigi is by far one of our favorites, not only in Malcesine but also compared to the – also very good – pizzerias/restaurants in other towns on Lake Garda. No matter what you choose from the menu, no matter which direction you go, everything is exquisitely and tastefully prepared. A huge plus is the fact that you can build your own pizza from pre-printed sheets. This is also very useful for vegetarians and lovers of "white" pizzas. And all of this at a very good price/performance ratio.
