Piazza Scammacca

We had a wonderful time at Piazza Scammacca.The staff were great. Attentive, but not always in your face.They went above and beyond after my wife mentioned it was our wedding anniversary.The menu choices are extensive with multiple restaurants inside one venue so it would be perfect for a group that has different tastes but wants to eat together.We both enjoyed our meals and wine very much and would happily go back the next time we are in Catania.

vibe was good, food was good, service was on point. down side we do not have the Fork promotion apply on our check.

We had two sandwhiches and a salad. Good portions and quality ingredients. The staff was attentive and kind.

The restaurant is a compilation of several restaurants which made looking at the menu difficult. There was no English menu. The bar code we were asked to scan for the English menu did not work to which they said they would inform their contractor. They seemed keen on pushing 2 or 3 items and seemed to lose interest if they were not what you wanted Of the 2 items I ordered one was v good and one was not. My wife liked the dish she ordered but not the dessert which was well presented but was a domed Ricotta cheese with droplets of chocolate on the surface and just below

The restaurant is in a lovely square. The service was not very attentive or friendly. The food is very average.
