空空CJI was staying at a hotel near the Frankfurt exhibition center and wanted to go out for a meal. Walked to the Block House restaurant. It was busy but there was a table. Ordered a bottle of Erdinger beer and then looked at the menu. I chose goulash soup as a starter, sirloin with roasted potatoes for the main course, and walnut ice cream for dessert, all delicious, this is indeed an excellent German restaurant. Dinner for 2 beers and 3 steaks came to 32 euros. Otherwise, the staff was attentive and nice (Nam did an excellent job) and the atmosphere was great. I recommend this restaurant and I will be back!

TheForkUserI choosed Du Liban for a farewell lunch with some colleagues. The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We ordered mixed warm and cold appetizers. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and balanced, with unexpected lemon taste in the spinach and nice smoke taste in the falafel . The dishes are very well presented and the portions are appropriate for appetizers. They were all vegetarians, by the way. Price consistent with quality and level of the restaurant. Strongly recommended.

The Gebert family cares about its restaurant and you feel that pride the minute you walk in. Great location close to the Rhein for the stroll you’ll want afterward. Cannot recommend highly enough.

泡泡龙他爸The restaurant belongs to the Johannesburg Winery, which is the most beautiful open-air restaurant in the Rheingau region and does very good business. Fortunately, it was not the weekend and it was raining, so I booked a table two months in advance. Sitting by the window, you can enjoy the steamy Rhine River, the neatly arranged green vineyards, the cars speeding on the B42 road close to the river, the colorful trains running parallel to it, and the nearby Johannesburg Manor. It would be even more perfect if there were blue sky and white clouds or a sky full of stars. Among the many open-air restaurants I have tried in Germany, this one has a very good value for money, and the dishes are very exquisite. Unlike those local farm dishes, it is closer to the style of Michelin restaurants. Parking is free of charge in the area in front of the restaurant. Before leaving, you can go to the winery store to take away two bottles of white wine, and there is a Chinese introduction to Rheingau wines.

Service was prompt and efficient. The food menu is sufficient for this type of pub / cocktail bar / bistro. The quality of the food was excellent. It was accompanied by fine wine at reasonable prices. The combination of good food and drink and a lively atmosphere would make me want to return.
