Johanns has a very nice ambiente and excellent service as well as food. You can also find interesting wine list there. It is really worth to visit this restaurant again.

Been coming here for a while now, lunch is always solid. The food quality for what you pay is honestly hard to beat. Service stays friendly, never felt rushed. Plus the spot by the Danube makes it easy to grab a walk after. Just wish they had a bit more seating inside when it gets busy.

Came for the schnitzel, stayed for the vibe. The owner's a real character, makes you feel at home right away. I had a decent Riesling with mine, worked well with the crispy crust. Prices are fair for what you get. Place was a bit busy, but that's probably a good sign.

Came for the grilled calamari — honestly, better than most I’ve had in Italy. Charred just right, tender, not rubbery at all. The old brewery setting gives it a nice rough edge, fits the food. Staff left me alone until I needed them, which I appreciate. Would go back just for that dish again.

Been coming here for a while now. The grilled shrimp are still spot on—fresh, butterflied just right. Food always looks good on the plate too. For this area, the price is fair. View doesn't hurt either. Not the kind of place you'd go out of your way for, but if you're nearby, it's solid.

The frozen strawberry margarita was solid—proper balance, not too sweet. Happy hour pricing makes it a decent stop if you're in the area. Cocktails are clearly the main draw here. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. I'd come back for a drink, though probably not for a full meal.

Sat outside with a cone, fruit flavors were really intense. Tried the mango and raspberry, both tasted fresh, not fake syrup. Price felt fair for what you get. Service was quick enough, though the line moved slower than I hoped. Solid stop if you're nearby and want something cold.

The pasta was clearly homemade, really full of flavor. Wine list had some nice picks too, went well with the food. Solid little spot in the old town.

The service in the restaurant is EXCELLENT! The food is SUPER TASTY and a visual delight! Highly recommend the lamb shank and tartare.

Stopped by on a Sunday evening without a booking and managed to grab a table. The Kaiserschmarrn was massive, fluffy, and properly sweet. I had a glass of Grüner Veltliner with it—worked surprisingly well with the caramelised bits. Staff were friendly enough, though it did get a bit busy later. Solid spot if you're in the mood for something hearty.

The homemade cheesecake was decent — glad I saved room for it. Place looks nice inside, service was polite and quick enough. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a casual dinner.

Been coming here every year on holiday, never disappoints. Beer garden is great in summer, cozy inside when it's cold. Food's solid, service friendly. Just book ahead—place is small and fills up fast.

The schnitzel here is solid and the portions are generous for what you pay. I got the classic pork one and it was huge, easily enough for two meals. Place gets packed fast though, so definitely reserve a table or you might be waiting outside. Owner clearly knows what they're doing with the menu.

The owners were friendly and the place felt relaxed. I had the grilled fish with veggies—fresh ingredients, nicely done. Portion was generous for the price. A solid local spot.

Came for the schnitzel, left really happy. Service was super friendly, felt like they actually cared. Only wish the place wasn't so packed, but that's probably a good sign.

The staff were friendly and spoke English, so ordering was easy. The hot egg nog was the highlight though — perfect for a chilly evening.

The currywurst was solid and the beer garden had a good vibe. Prices are fair for the central location. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, but I'd stop by again.

Stopped by without a reservation and got lucky with a courtyard table. Pasta and pizza were solid, staff friendly enough. Decent spot if you're in the area.

The wine list had a few solid picks that paired nicely with the meal. Cozy spot, service stayed friendly even when it got busy.

Decent food and the portions are generous. Place is nothing fancy and gets loud, but the price is fair. Wouldn't mind going back.

The interior feels properly old-school Italian, dark wood and all. Got a table by the window, pretty comfy seating. Espresso was a solid way to end the meal.

Nice relaxed spot. Had the veggie option, was pretty good. Service friendly enough. Location's pleasant too.

Got the 2-star menu and honestly, the portions felt a bit small for what you pay. Tasty, sure, but I left still thinking about grabbing a snack. Fine for a special night, just don't expect to be stuffed.

Great spot for a relaxed meal with friends. Food was solid and the place is super dog-friendly, which we loved. Service was friendly too, nothing fancy but it worked.

Decent spot for a casual meal. The food was pretty good, especially considering the price. Had a few dishes and left satisfied. Nothing fancy, but it does the job well. Service was fine too. Maybe a bit busy at times, but that's expected. Would come back if I'm in the area.

That veggie burger with the full toppings really hit the spot, and the side salad was fresh. The apple cake for dessert was a nice sweet end. We sat on the patio, classic beer garden feel. My cousin actually drives down from Munich just for their beer, so that says something. Portion sizes were decent for the price, I thought.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Prices are fair for the area, drinks won't break the bank. Mostly students hanging out, kinda casual vibe. Fine if you're not expecting anything fancy.

The homemade pasta here is the real deal. I got the tagliatelle and the portion was decent for the price, not one of those tiny tourist plates. It's a bit snug inside, but the food makes up for it. If you want a proper Italian meal without breaking the bank in Passau, this is a solid pick.

The pizza was thin and crispy, exactly how I like it. They let you pick between thin or thick crust, which is nice. Prices felt fair for what you get. Service was okay, nothing special but not bad either. The seating area felt a bit cramped though, not a lot of room between tables. Fine for a quick casual bite.

Samosas were proper. Like the ones I had in Delhi. Naan though? Meh. More like a bakery roll. Curries saved it though, decent spice. Rice was fine too. Would go back just for the samosas honestly.
