Best view if the lake from the table. Food was served very fast and tasty. Very friendly waitress. Definitely going back again.

Run of the mill food in a run of the mill hotel restaurant.

The facade doesn't look like much, but the lounge music inside is a nice touch. It's comfortable. Service is simple and discreet, which is fine by me.

The grilled ray was really nice, cooked just right. Shame about the mussels being off the menu that evening. Still, a decent meal overall.

The set menu is a steal at €24-€30. Portions are huge and the wine list actually works with the food.

Stopped here on a road trip. The meal was warm and tasty, came out quick. The dessert was the best part, really generous with the filling. Just what we needed.

This place is a great value for money, with reasonable prices and generous portions that left us very satisfied.

Came for the three-course menu, left feeling so full! Those extra amuse-bouches were a lovely touch. You can really taste the quality in each ingredient. The scallop starter was my favorite – so fresh and delicate.

The bread selection here is fantastic. I spent a good five minutes just staring at the display case—those little pistachio cakes looked so tempting I had to get one. It was even better than it looked.

Usual professional service, food interesting, well presented and high quality. And as ever consistent. New wine list is interesting too.

Impeccable! A delicious Saturday lunch at L’Abbaye. The food was thoughtfully conceived making the best of seasonal ingredients and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, professional and unostentatious. We appreciated the atmosphere of multigenerational families enjoying celebratory lunches in the historic Caen stone surroundings.

The savory buckwheat galette was solid, good local ingredients. Dessert crepe was well-balanced. Service was efficient. Good for a quick business lunch near the office.

A nice spot by the lake, good for an ice cream. I tried one of their cocktails—it was pretty original and refreshing. A decent place to stop.

A solid three-course menu with good options. The service was friendly and quick, which was nice.

The wood-fired rib-eye was cooked just right. It’s a solid choice here. The only thing is it can get a bit smoky inside, but the steak itself is reliably good.

The pizza here is just right. Thin crust, not too much cheese, and the tomato sauce has a nice tang. It's simple, but that's what makes it good. Just a solid, satisfying meal.

The lentil dahl here is packed with flavor. A great spot for plant-based options.

Had a long, leisurely lunch here after hitting the market. The grilled octopus was tender, cooked just right. Prices felt fair for the quality. A solid spot to unwind.

Been coming here for years. The prices have stayed fair, even as everything else gets more expensive. That's why I keep coming back.

Steak and fries are solid. Good portions, quality ingredients. Gets a bit chilly by the windows though.

Perfect for late-night hangs! Most spots around here close early, but this place kept the kitchen open. Just a simple, solid meal with friends after a movie. No fuss, just good vibes.

Loved the outdoor seating after our castle visit. The galette with eggs, cheese, and ham was really good.

The terrace is what makes it feel like a real Parisian bistro. Sitting out there with a glass of wine, it just clicked. The menu was fine, had a decent selection. They did have an English one, which was helpful.

Been coming here for lunch for years. The menu's always solid, food's consistently fresh and comes out fast. That's what keeps me coming back. Their French beer selection is a nice touch too.

Service was on point, really attentive. Food came out quickly and was tasty, especially the pasta. Prices are fair for the area. I'd go back.
