Novotel Café by Fred Ramos

At first we thought that dining in a hotel restaurant might be somewhat underwhelming but it was quite nice. Kind welcome at the reception desk, calm atmosphere and not crowded at all on a Friday night. We could choose either to sit indoors or outside. The menu is not screaming out with numerous choices but we ordered three different meals with different sides and everything was good. Reasonable prices for this kind dining in Monaco.

This is actually the Novotel's internal restaurant, something it was not clear from the description. The ambient therefore is quite bland, and the menu is very short. The dishes were good though and it's great value for the money being in Monaco.

Too bad there was no choice of menu, only two dishes (one meat and one fish) and the salad bar. The salad bar is very well stocked, the products are fresh and varied. Lunch was very good.

I recommend it because we ate well except for the carbonara so NEVER order the carbonara... Of course the bill is a lot but we are in Monte Carlo so it makes sense!
