What travelers say:
This Italian restaurant on Cuba Street is amazing! We had a great time here, enjoying prosecco with pizza and fish in orange juice and fennel, and tiramisu and affogato for dessert. So happy to find a restaurant in New Zealand that serves such great wines!

This was my second time at this great place and I loved it just as much as the first time! The food was delicious and tasty with vegetarian options. The service was fast and friendly. There was a young waitress who was from New York and she was very helpful.
I studied the menu for a long time. Some of the menus were not in English, so I could only understand the general idea. I ordered a seafood fried dish. I asked the waiter to recommend the more popular one. I felt hurt. . . The other beef dumpling was filled with cheese. The cheese tasted quite special. I liked it very much. The beef one was delicious. The local tap beer was good. I recommend it! For dessert, I strongly recommend the last semifreddo, which was a mixture of ice cream with various berries. There were pistachios and mint leaves in the ice cream. It was beautiful and delicious. The salad was a portion for one person. It was arugula, pears and cheese (probably goat cheese). I thought it was pretty good. It was a good way to cleanse your mouth.
Two people came here for lunch. Ordered rice balls, eggplant toast, pork meatballs, sardine liver grilled. Food was good but not great. Rice balls were a bit hard and well grilled, sardines probably the best dish, liver was ok. Had a glass of white and then a bottle of Etna. All the wines were more 'quaffers' and the quality of the wines could be improved a lot. I ordered a bottle of Etna; it was a light, not very full flavour. 85 bucks a bottle. I expected better quality and indeed the prices in Sydney are better (between 121bc and VINI). A nice space and service was ok. Overall ok but not worth $200. This was my second visit after 2 years and I'm not sure I'd go back.
The most loyal returning customer, not only me but my whole family is very satisfied, highly recommended!
